Hello, I got the Stylus RMX release of 7 GBs that's on the sister site and started to install every upgrade and expansion library from there. And I noticed that there's a few Suites that are completely empty on Stylus itself, despite these being in the SAGE folder. It's the add-on Sound Menu suite on Backbeat and OddTimes on Burning Grooves. I have re-installed it a few times and even put the Data updates on top but they still never appear on Stylus. Is there any fix for this?

Maybe you should go to the sister site once more and look for the latest update for stylus?!?

 

And yes, I did install all previous data updates. None fixed this issue. The plugin itself now works wonders.

But I do have the expansion installed, and the missing sounds are there, but they don't appears on Stylus. And sorry for not explaining well, I meant that I started to install everything on top of the 1.9.6 version.

I think I got the issue.... those folders have the samples inside, but the Add-On Sound is the only folder that has the "Data.xml" missing.

If any help at all:
I have the latest Stylus RMX Xpanded installed and the size is 13,9 GB (14.948.361.170 byte)

 

Mine is 16 GBs. I think the only way to fix it is by adding the data.xml file on that folder and somehow editing the DB file of Burning Grooves.

 

The Pirate say:
Inside the SAGE folder you have the Stylus RMX subfolder. This is where the Core library is located.It is 7.54GB.

You also have a subfolder labeled SAGE Libraries in which the Expansion Libraries (EXP) and
User Libraries (third-party libraries) are located.

Lastly, there is the Share Data subfolder. In total , there is close to 32GB in your SAGE folder.

I am not sure you even were able to select (highlight) that bottom item "Add-On Sound Menus"
Mine is listed the same way but I can not select that.

 

I turned off the "Settings" next to elements and it allowed me to click there.

The sounds themselves are there tho. They are supposed to be like the Sound Menus on the default library and Big Bad Beats but I assume the issue happens because it's the only folder on BackBeat that has the XML file that allows it to be read by Stylus missing. I can't check Burning Grooves's Odd Times because it's on .DB, but I assume it's for a similar reason. Last one is kinda of a problem because there's a few Multis on Burning Grooves that make use of these Grooves.

Since the one on the sister site is so old... it could be an issue the library had in the past that got fixed now. I am gonna ask a friend who has legit Stylus with all expansions if he has the same problem.

There are two types of expansions (also called expanders) for stylus, one is db format and the other is folder based. Non of the db based libraries have a data.xml file as it is inside them. The data.xmls are generated only for the types of expansions or user libraries based ones which are usually folder based. Also that bottom item "Add-On Sound Menus" works (clickable) for me whether i have I turned off the "Settings" or not. I have 2 expansions (Ethno Techno and NoizBox) which are the only ones which are folder based and have data.xmls. See if your folders and file sizes of your expansion are similar to mine. Oh i just noticed you have the BackBeat sounds in a folder. I can remember there were two versions released, one was the older version of BackBeat which came in a folder format and the newer one was a single file db based one. That could be the issue.
