You are right, I see problems everywhere that is why the majority of my time in this forum is spent helping others with their problems. If it is another BS thread, practice what you preach. What are you doing looking at it and replying to it?

 

It's not because you help members that you don't see problems everywhere.Your thread about offtopic comments was another example.Relax my friend.People come here to have fun too.If they spend their days making music it is understandable they want to talk about something else than music a bit.

Also it is pathetic to use this thread to attack one of our most helpful members here. If anyone has earned the right to complain it is @The Pirate. Im fairly knew but in the short time that I have been here @The Pirate has given me over 60 hours of his time without charging me one cent and I know am not alone. What @The Pirate is saying should be embraced by everyone who is serious about a career in music.

i think to kno that admins see forum a bit as living creature..they do it long time..and equal how much effort someone put into something next week can sign in 145 trolls...you cant do not much...but sometimes often threads should be deleted by algorythm

maybe we should do second asex lounge site so we didnt get distracted if we not want too..i bet it runs well...

That's what I'm saying, they wouldnt have lasted 3 lines in the mean sheets of the old dialup era. I'm trying to get some momentum for a rap battle thread so anytime pirate has beef with gyro they can handle it like real avatars. German is acceptable but isn't as dope as english

 

@Blue and @Boosire I disagree with both of you because you think that in the Lounge section anything can be discussed and that any member that does not want to be bother with discussions that are not related to music should stay away from the lounge.
I think some of you got the wrong interpretation of what the @The Pirate is trying to convey. His main argument is that there should be a defined purpose for this forum. His other argument is nothing but a call out to the community to get back on track.As @peterA asked is this a music forum or a general purpose forum?
If this is a music forum the Lounge should not be used to talk about non music related topics or at least those prohibited by the rules. @Blue says that people come here to talk about something else than music. Are you serious? So this is like Facebook or Tweeter now? I joined here because I want to talk and learn as much as I can about music, software and this is the only place where someone like me with no prior experience can ask a question and get help without feeling intimidated. Lets keep it like that. If you want to talk about politics, the climate, etc go elsewhere. This forum should be about Audio, just lie its name implies. Im certain that if there was a clear statement to that, half the shit that goes on here would not be taking place. In other firums you get banned fir siimplty asking the wrong question. Do I wadd nt this forum to start censoring members? I dont but things need to improve.

he is also right yeah...this site has a lounge...and many of us are intersted in conversation bout non audio but with audio ppl ,also cause the inter-nationality here....and i think this is the majority..
but evry day drama here drama there is not so....
bit less or none fun posts on seroius posts would be good too..

..maybe lounge shouldnt be indexed on az

----every niche site has its lounge or barbershop....but i think on other sites sms would have had not the oportunity to post 3-4 drama threads in row....this way he wouldnt be banned now ,too

Seriously, I love you as my brother Pirate but I wish you would have transformed into your Foster profile before posting this because this does very un-pirate like things to the word pirate.

To some of us music, production, industry is more than a topic of interest. It's an entire way of life, every good and grimy part. Go to a film industry forum and notice how witty and charming those folk are. They make us seem like "School for People who Think Music in Neat and Want to Learn How to Make a Kick Drum"
