As I begin to get my head around Hip-Hop/Trap/Neo Soul production, there is one thing that confuses me...<br />

...Sample packs that contain fully completed songs broken into individual tracks, sold as a &#039;Loop Pack&#039; and touted as &#039;Original Compositions&#039;. <br />

I use one shots, I chop songs, and I understand FX and perc loops usage...but what would one do with a anothers&#039; fully produced song stem like a piano/GTR/strings track in their own productions? <br />

I&#039;m not going the prog metal route of the 90s-on, I aim to do one that is very keyboard/synth heavy and stereotypical of the 70s and 80s (and Motoi Sakuraba&#039;s arrange albums from the 90s) purely with samples and FL Studio.<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Some of you may remember like I do going to the occasional New Age/Witch/World stores of the 90s and early 2000s at the malls and hearing music that was more than just calming, ambient music in the broader New Age genre - it had what we can now identify as Roland D-50s and JDs and JVs and XVs and Korg M1s and Wavestations and Trinitys blowing all those synth bells and motions pads and percussive flutes and fake string samples that literally no one else in professional music was using...<br />

i want to produce this exactly or quiet similar violin ensembles peice but  dont know how.<br />
i tried adjusting pitch but didint work.<br />

Can anyone suggest me what articulation are going on or how to create it?<br />
Or i need real violin players instead of sample libraries? i m using EWQL Platinum...<br />
