I've heard a few demos of Depeche, where Martin probably recorded at home and took them into the studio, where I get the idea Alan Wilder brought his magic to bring them to life.

Does anybody know the process they used to build those tracks...?

So maybe starting with an Arp pattern, then Bass, Drums, Stabs, Risers etc. Was there ever a vague process how they worked or is it like most of us just randomly coming up with stuff and pretty much winging it?

It feels like Alan Wilder had a really good grasp of where to take a track so it feels like he probably had a bit of a process as well.
