Hi guys, first time user here after some install tips...hoping that someone with the requisite skills can help me!

I am running MacBook Pro mid 2015 with recent update to BigSur 11.1

Here are the instructions:

[MacOSX]
0.Uninstall previous versions.
1.Burn or mount the ISO.
Copy Library folder to :
/Library/Application Support/XLN Audio/
2.Install the software.
3.Run and close the software.
Log file will be created in : (Caution, it's USER dir!)
~/Library/Logs/(ProductName) Logs/
Open latest log file and find ComputerID.
4.Run our keygen on Windows.
Input ComputerID you found from the log file.
Click "Generate (OSX)", save the license.
Locate the generated license (LicensesOI.txt) to :
/Library/Application Support/XLN Audio/XLN Online Installer/App/Licenses/
5.Enjoy!

I cannot seem to find / copy the library folder ... is it because I am noob or is something missing? I hope it is ok to ask for help in this way...

I have extracted all files I have access to with unarchiver, it seems to me that the instructions are not easy to follow as I had hoped. I was really hoping to be able to get this working in Logic Pro X - if anyone can help me, either in terms of this particular download or even general tips in getting some plugins working for Mac, I'd be very grateful.

If XLN Online Installer/App/Licences don't exist, then you can't have installed the plugin properly.
You can just create those folders in that path though.
But they give you what they tell you to place in Library/Application Support/XLN Audio in the download anyway.
So I really don't know how you can mess it up.

I cannot seem to find / copy the library folder.........Its inside the ISO .....follow the instructions.....
Burn or mount the ISO!!
Then move it to........./Library/Application Support/XLN Audio/.....Done!

Didn't even open the iso!
That IS funny! Sorry to the op.

 

On a related note - Addictive Drums (and all XLN plugins) are broken on Big Sur for the current cracked version.
