For shits and giggles, do a song using just three chords, or even only two.
Get a mood off the chord change, feel the vibe from the mood, and tell me the story in your head/heart with the vocal line melody.
Arrange in a simple verse, chorus layout and see how that plays out.
Don't over think it when writing. It's what I do. :like:

    Thank you my Aliens.
TBH, I'm searching out strangely sounding chords and progressions. I'm almost out there and my concentration for the next work would be on the meaningful arrangements at least I hope.:winker:

Of course you should write what you want. I was just interested in what you'd come up with under certain musical restrictions. :like:

There are 2 approaches in songwriting:

    1- Respecting my self-experimentations like this: https://audiosex.pro/threads/fully-...he-traditional-music-terms.28156/#post-233829
2- Respecting the previous composers' experimentations.

I think balancing between the two is a logical approach. I love liberty and standing on my own feet without relying on anything like most people but unfortunately the reality says I need to study the past for getting rid of trial and error for ages.

I'm sure there are plenty more than two song writing approaches, but like I wrote above, I wondered what you'd come up with using defined/set guidelines.
It's quite okay to ask a writer to challenge themselves by exploring alternate avenues, just as it's okay for them to not want to travel them.

When I see lots of styles been and being done by people having different and sometimes opposed views to the songwriting, an ambitiously unbounded enthusiasm arises inside me to explore them. Unfortunately I have not been able to make a common template for my works till now. I have raised my faulty knowledge to some ranges but I really need to feel the contentment with my own internal properties and possessions. You know, it's a psychological issue.:disco:

My creatures are like 30 seconds fast jerk-off & ejaculation. No slow and gradual build-up, no embellishing, no elegance. Just tough moments any listener can have.:bleh:

Yes, that is the default Garageband song title. Yes, I have 2,283 unnamed garageband projects. No, I'm totally not a hoarder. LOL

Very chilled and so different to what I use to stumble over on Youtube (extreme busy, hectic music with button smashing in fractions of a second). I really like it. The simple structure and clear sounds add to it. Thanks for sharing!

This is my experimental track made with only one mono synth (including drum sounds). The synth is HY-Plugins' HY-Mono.

It can be considered as "experimental melodic techno". (Or if something else.. I don't know..?)

Actually, it is complete for experimentation and learning sound design point of view. But, I am considering it as incomplete because I want to now convert it with some more instruments and samples so that it becomes proper "melodic techno" genre track.

    Here it is:

Any suggestions for improvement? (Or should I ask in for feedback in other section..?)

    Thanks in advance.
