I cannot get any waves dl to work from the sister site. Shit is really starting to annoy me because I hate waves and want a working mercury bundle... I have tried 13.12.21, V2021.12.05, V13 26.11.21, and the apparently working (based on comments) V2021.11.15 RET. None of these work... I follow directions to a T, I cant sudo anything on my mac for some reason, but the second command line in the instructions seems to go thru... EVERY SINGLE FUCKING TIME I boot up logic I get a licensing error with a waves pop up that has selections like skip this time / skip all / ignore / and so on... what gives??? Are waves harder to crack than they used to...

At this point I'm about to dig thru a hard drive and find the torrent I downloaded, that worked 5 years ago. I read thru the comments and on some of these dont see a single acknowledgment saying its working, just a bunch of thank you's (for something that doesnt work?) anyone else having these issues????

 

I have the exact same issue, I’ve tried it several times.
I’ve followed the instructions etc but it always gets the licensing error. Can anyone help?

Hello, I am having the same license issue on MacBook Pro M1 Pro, trying to install V14, is there still no solution for this? I have only been able to install a V13 version and only running Studio One in Rosetta mode, in native Waves did not work. Thanks in advance. (P.S. where can I find the waves Keygen? V14 does not seem to come with that)

 

my personal solution is simply Logic, Fabfilter, RX, and Accusonus ERA (free now!). If you don't have lots of old projects to access or client work, F waves. They have gotten so bloated and then these issues on top of it. Massive install size for what is really in it...etc.

Files like keygens are not supposed to be repacked into new releases. So normally you will have to find the original team's work.

 

Here's something I found online: Working on a Mac 2020, M1 (running in native mode - not rosetta).

In order to install: Waves.Complete.v2021.11.15.Incl.Patched.and.Keygen-RET ----- this is version 13

1. Go to waves folder and Install Waves Central and Run
2. Uninstall Previously Installed Plugins from Waves Central Settings
3. Fixed Permissions from Waves Central Settings
4. Select Offline Installer and Click Install from an Offline Installer
5. Browse the Waves folder you downloaded (Inside : 1 - Installer)
6. Select the plugins you like and Install

7. Copy the provided file WavesLicenseEngine.bundle --> ..Application Support/Waves/Licenses/Modules
8. Create the key file with the provided Keygen (on a windows computer) --> .wle file
9. Copy the key file manually into the licenses waves folder (library/Application Support/Waves/Licenses
10. Open Terminal and run the following commands:

xattr -cr /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle
sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle

Restart Computer

Thanks for instructions, but in Monterey, Waves intallation doesn't create the folder ".Application Support/Waves/Licenses/Modules". Neither the folder "library/Application Support/Waves/Licenses". I tried to creat manually, but nothing changed.

Have you some tips? Thanks in advandce.

I have try with V13 04.04.22 and V14 21.06.22, nothing to do, the same message..
I have try in rosetta mode to.

I will try via my old time machine. I hop it's worked.

Has anyone solved the problem?

Use the sister site Waves 9/12/2022 patch only on the 9/21/2022 Waves installer.
Follow the guys instructions on the 9/12/2022 and use all the stuff included to patch the 9/21/2022 install.
Works perfect and yes Cosmos works as well.
I'm assuming you know where the sister site is and how to use it.

 

Does anyone have reliable links to download the correct versions? I was under the impression that I was alone, but finally there are two problems, either the instructions are very badly explained and some things are missing or it's the release that is not up to date and doesn't work on all mac M1.
