y'know, some of us are too sensitive for content like this. A little disclaimer would be nice.

Hollywood abject fecklessness and nihilism ... whoulda thunk...

it was Tarantino who spat in Uma Thurman's face for Kill Bill as well
(among other rotten things he insisted on, resulting in injuries to the actress, google it )

sympathies to all who love fine old wood

so the moral of the story is an old one..

It's just a thing, as old as it may be. I won't lose a minute of sleep over it.

Now if it were a human being, that would be another story, you know, every life lost is a tragedy for someone. But an object...Meh. Not materialistic, nor nostalgic for things.

Chinese slaving away and dying to make ipad indeed do matter, Russians too, Irakis, Syrians, Greeks ,Vietnameses, South-Africans, Afghanis, Germans, Polish, French....Obviously every lifes matter, no matter where or why they die. Lives lost yesterday, more than half a century ago, or lost lifes today, by the millions too, and for excellent causes according to the murderers (don't they always think that ?)
Even on the sea as anonymous refugees chased from their countries by senseless conflicts brought on by abroad...

    Every life, my friend Durr.

then you might want to choose a more appropriate signifier for yourself ..if you really live up to your words

    Still hunting ? #MacCarthysm

I'll just stick to picking witchever "signifier" I want without caring what anyone wants to see in it (and what those individuals have to say about it).
About that, you should pick another "signifier" if you want to arm strength anyone to do anything Durr.

"Music died at the end of 70's/80's, after that isn't music."

I've done lots of explorations and the above sentence is what I finally reached.

And also I'm gonna remove "future" from my signature because there's no future.

Mokay....Hum...Cheer up Fosty, it might resuscitate down the line.

Who knows : you might be the one who brings it back alive. Actually I'm sure you will be the one to do so, seeing how advanced you are in your analysis of modern "music" next to the rest of us...At least half of your threads/thoughts, as fascinating as they seem to be, goes way above my head.

I opened up the below thread to say the same thing:
    https://audiosex.pro/threads/why-arent-we-able-to-make-any-artistic-music.39138/

Today it's impossible to make the music of those days (not even close), because everything has changed. Music isn't defined just by the musician. Music needs other non-musical aspects which have direct or indirect inspirational effects on the musician that have been totally lost.:(

there's only one "signifier" suited for a "bird" such as you have.. but since I try to live up to my tux
.. I'll just keep swinging my "baton".. and you keep swinging your sickle... it certainly has served it's masters
well in cutting down the masses who wanted none of it..

keep wearing it on your chest just like the old Western fools wearing their "che" T shirts
around the capitol of Vientiane,Laos, no need to "hunt" those birds

there are some people making quite nice music with Martin guitars still,
    among them @superliquidsunshine
just don't ever let Hollywood scum touch them..they're surely not worthy

just keep doing what you do... after all, clicks matter,
and I really don't expect you to waste any brain or body power trying to learn
something so "backwards" as a fine instrument..

gotta stop clicking that momentary unignore thingy myself too

I love Hollyweird as much as the next dreamer trapped in Hotel California but but some will always keep certain things sacred

Lets not get too carried away.., lest we forget Uma's willingness to overlook previous tragedies; https://www.eonline.com/news/932616/uma-thurman-willing-to-work-with-quentin-tarantino-again

Personally my life wouldn't be complete without Kill Bill, Uma, or Tarantino.., or the Rza

nice turn of phrase... certainly the Eagles immortalized that hotel..and I have no grief with them..nor their overplayed song..
however, I broke up with "Hollyweird" a long time ago... and I'm fine with that.. I'd rather go back to something simple
and sensible like Hepburn and Bogie.. or a young Marlon Brando.. I really don't mind being considered "dated" at all...

as for Ms. Thurman and her easily abandoned outrage... well, Hollywood and integrity were never synonymous in any age or era...
