Today it's impossible to make the music of those days (not even close), because everything has changed. Music isn't defined just by the musician. Music needs other non-musical aspects which have direct or indirect inspirational effects on the musician that have been totally lost.

nice turn of phrase... certainly the Eagles immortalized that hotel..and I have no grief with them..nor their overplayed song..
however, I broke up with "Hollyweird" a long time ago... and I'm fine with that.. I'd rather go back to something simple
and sensible like Hepburn and Bogie.. or a young Marlon Brando.. I really don't mind being considered "dated" at all...

as for Ms. Thurman and her easily abandoned outrage... well, Hollywood and integrity were never synonymous in any age or era...
