Cubase 11.0.20
Logic X 10.5.1

This is what I have done
1. Install "Arcade_OSX_Install_1.6.1.R4076.pkg"

2. Replace the installed components with patched ones.

3. Batchmod all plugins and stand-alone app (owner=root / group=admin, enable ALL, apply to enclosed folders only).

4. Terminal : "Sudo codesign —force —deep —sign - [root]" results in:

Usage: codesign -s identity [-fv*] [-o flags] [-r reqs] [-i ident] path ... # sign
codesign -v [-v*] [-R=<req string>|-R <req file path>] path|[+]pid ... # verify
codesign -d [options] path ... # display contents

5. Restart computer

Stand-alone app = "This Program Can not be opened"

Cubase VST2 and VST3 = "Crash Cubase"

Logic X AU = "Crashed Validation"

Terminal : "-dequarantine all sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine" results in "command not found"

What am I doing wrong here? Any advice?

You need the JDK not the JRE!

@poly why it is soooooooooooo heavy on the first run after importing all the content, scrolling down is the pain in the ass and it loads way too slow, per content, does this happened only once (because it is updating the database or some sort) or this happening every single time you run it ?

 

Happens every single time for me, I guess there is no way around it

 

codesign command is just "sudo codesign —force —deep —sign - " (don't include [root] or quote marks, sign each plugin and standalone separately by dragging into terminal)
dequarantine command is "sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine " which must be done for each plugin and standalone separately. To get commands to work you must have XCode command line tools installed (if you don't, just google how). Hope that helps

 

Yes it is, if you choose the search menu that is.

If you choose the "lines" menu which only works if you're online, it isn't slow as it just shows the categories and not every single kit individually.

Guys, can somebody explain to me like I'm 5? I downloaded vst, library, and tool. Installed the vst (vst3) to my SSD (not on system c drive). And the library on my other HDD. I put the tool inside of the library and opened it with cmd and I select both folders (arcade and import/ I changed location on arcade and checked from .xml file). I guess its works one folder per. After a while, it's said completed. Put when I open arcade I cant see that imported library on the search tab or anywhere. Can somebody explain to me how importing works on windows step by step? Thanks.

 

does anyone know how i can set the plugin size to medium? the settings page doesnt work and its pretty annoying to work on normal size

 

about the the slow speed, I think the ONLY workaround is, uninstall all the content, use your own sample instead of the content, create own slices and stuff, create own kit and save it. No lag at all if doing that. Other that that, at this point, this release is still in the "fun to play with" category rather than a "helpful tool" in the production. Also the original content that comes with the installer is probably enough to play with, but who knows for how long.

Things could change in the future if other browsing method for the whole library of content is made available offline, because the Search function is totally useless and so damn slow which is totally understandable why it behaves like that. Big library, a lot of slices encoded/converted source files rather than audio file, it will definitely needs a lot power for the system to read and view them all. I don't think there's anything can be done about that other than make the Line function available offline which is kinda impossible since it needs to connect to the server.

On second thought maybe it is not impossible, because Nexus 3 connect to some "other server" to make it happen.

Thanks to Team Flare for giving us a taste of this one and finally completed the Output catalog for the community. It is not an easy task, if installing alone took 5 hours, I don't know how many hours you guys spent to crack it could be 1000+ including testing and stuff and I am grateful for that. Will keep it for now, and hope for an "update" or some sort in the future, because it is too slow and made me afraid to run/use it, in the middle of songwriting. Afraid it would crash the projects or worse kill the mood.

Fun to play for now and maybe learn a thing or two about sample manipulation.
