If you had a dying hard disk something could have gone wrong when you copied the files from it. I can give you all the files in the folder except the big files in core library, and of course delete the zmap.index files. You then only have to place the Omnisphere folder in the Steam folder and say yes to overwriting. And then do a rescan of the Steam folder from Omnisphere. Could be worth a try before reinstalling which is a pain

 

He didnt die yet and i have plenty of files on him and one of the files is Omnisphere STEAM folder and thats the only one STEAM folder i have... Hard is still usable though. I just kept second partition of the drive where i have those files i need (soon will buy new drive to back up).
HD sentinel showing 46% of health for the drive. BTW presets are playing so idk, sounds shoud be corrupted too but its not a problem to play sounds from any factory, its just dont show GUI.

 

Easiest way is to just test if the Steam folder is corrupt, but to test that you need to test it from a another pc. I don't think we gonna come anywhere before you do that

 

Idk. man. I think il just download entire library again... I dont have external hard drive to do it so when i download whole library il post here if that fixed problem above.

 

I solved the problem, if it doesnt display that means that your computer is not always connected to internet, i saw some people say that we have to upgrade to windows 10, i use win 7 sp1, so what i did is , connecting my pc to internet, going to control panel > system and security > windows update; and i found that my version of windows isnt update, i did an update ( it takes hours to install all packages) but finally i got it work

 

Still can't the GUI to display with Windows 7 (64-bit). i7 2nd generation (QM2820 processor). Works fine with i7 4th generation (4770), even without ANY Windows updates on that (literally.. SP1.. and that's it). The Windows 7 (2nd gen i7) has all current Windows 7 updates. No luck.

The video card I have in the 2nd gen i7 Windows 7 system is a Nvidia Quadro 1000m (2GB). Seemingly good video card. The video driver I have in the 4th gen i7 Windows 7 system is Intel HD Graphics 4600 (motherboard video).

No issues with the same exact laptop specs running Windows 10. GUI for Omnisphere 2.6 is fine, even with the same graphics (Nvidia Quadro 1000m).

I used The Pirate's Omnisphere 2.6 full installer (without the need for previous updates). Windows 10 system is perfect. Windows 7... no luck at all (unless it's the 4770 4th gen i7 installer with the Intel HD Graphics 4600).

I wish I knew why this was. Bizarre.

Had The same problem with my MBP and a win7 partition had to download all the latest win updates and it worked 4 me

SOLVED - Hi all. I got the same issue (empty Omnisphere) and I solved it just by doing the automatic Windows 7 (64bits) updates (I use a cracked W7 version) . Just enabled it and ask the system to look for updates and install it. It took like 2 hours to complete the job, but then Omnisphere came back to life. updates and install it. I stumbled upon this GENIUS fix tonight.... this worked for me. NOTHING ELSE DID. Huge kudos to the Geist user who posted this Hotfix.

Read the very last post. That SIMPLE 11 megabyte Hotfix is what made Geist 2 standalone AND the plugin work for me (it didn't, on a new computer test) AND I tested Omnisphere 2.6's plugin .dll in a portable installation of Reaper.... there the text was, for all patches and presets. Everything worked flawlessly, even with the Soundsource still at 2.3 and the Patch Library still at 2.3 (the last working Omnisphere plugin was 2.4, before this graphics crap). I tested Omnisphere 2.5 AND 2.6... THIS WORKS. This simple hotfix fixed everything!!!

I installed the 64-bit version since I have a 64-bit version of Windows 7. THIS WORKS. THIS WORKS. THIS WORKS. Nothing. Else. Worked. This simple 11 megabyte Hotfix worked.

This is the solution, apparently. Fixed it for me. Should fix it for everyone else (Being on W7, not up to date, no Internet etc.).
