hey guys, so I spent some time ( a long time ) organizing nexus presets and switched them over to another system and some of the presets that I resaved are no longer working. The presets that I only renamed/changed categories without changing any settings still work. The presets that I changed and hit save user preset no longer work. I opened the folder where they were located on my C: drive labeled user presets - copied those and put them into the nexus preset folder with the rest of the banks. They show up but are not working. Anybody know what's going on here?

 

Presets are encrypted, depending on version used.

Legit or from "sister site" ?

Because RefX changed their encryption scheme recently.

 

sister site - 4.5.13 - like i said the ones that i edited and resaved were working fine until I took them off my C drive and put them on an external and tried to run them on my other computer

 

Need to install Nexus 4.5.13 VR rev3 on your new computer
There was an encryption bug on previous revisions.

PS : be careful, unpacked Nexus 4.5.13 VR rev3 get the same name than previous revisions ... need to check twice it is revision 3.

 

So...did the Rev3 fix it, Nick?

 

I didnt try it yet I just got my old system back and everything seems to be working fine now so i might just leave it hte way it is
