Hello, i have on my PC the Nexus 3.4.4 version..Can anyone guide me for the steps to instal both 4.5.13 (rev 3),so that will have both V3 and V4 on my computer? Thank you!

 

Hi mate, hey im having a different issue here - after following your instructions for installing the expansion packs, i now get an alert saying i need to use the "reFX cloud" installer, there will be no sound. Any suggestions? Thanks

 

Sir, this usually happens when the corresponding Soundbank to which the preset belong is either not installed properly or one or more sound files are corrupted so the preset is unable to read the files properly.

Sometimes it happens even though all the presets and sound Expansion are correctly installed the plugin itself cannot read the preset I.e to say it cannot decrypt the presets properly.
This happens mostly with Nexus 3 reading the decrypted presets from all the earlier released nexus 2 era "Encrypted presets" from various expansions.
The Nexus 4.5.13 VR rev3 is able to decrypt any presets AFAIK

 

Sir, just rename the Nexus 3 dll and vst3 files in plugin folders to something like Nexus 3.dll, Nexus 3.vst3 and then install Nexus 4.5.13 VR rev3 on top of it.
Voila you will have both the versions running on your computer.

I am trying to use Nexus on macOS in and legit version of FL Studio (latest version), but I am experiencing several issues.
First it seemed to work, however it took literally an hour until it opened in FL Studio. Then it took another hour until the library (which is on an external HDD) was shown (note: I am using Nexus in FL Studio in Windows too, same library, no loading times there). Now it does not work anymore. I reinstalled it, rescanned etc. No luck. Just noticed in Plugin Manager the status is „Error“. Has anybody a similar situation and got it working?

 

I don't use macOS. BTW had you installed the latest VR Release rev 3. The earlier version 4.5.13 has some activation problems. It work at first then stops working due to some protection problems.

 

I got the version from 4downloads... I don’t know if it is rev3, it’s not explicitly mentioned.

I don't request warez here but I have the Splice rent-to-own subscription for Serum. Can I also use V.R. version at the same time?

Do yourself a favor and never download anything from that website. Have someone give you a link to Sister Site and you will at least know the original files have not been tampered with. I'm not saying they do anything bad to the files, but you simply cannot know without spending extra time to check them properly. You should remove any possibility that they have been.

Serum is not some plugin that scans your system and involves itself in anything else you have on your computer. Why would you bother having two of them installed? I own legit Serum, so why would I install VR version? There's no reason to. If I was "renting to own", and with Serum2 on the way; i'm not sure I would continue paying Splice for it either. If Serum 2 is a free update for legit users, like Falcon3 is; that would be great. But I wasn't expecting UVI to do that, and I am not expecting Serum2 update to be completely free either. (but it kinda should be). Try to find out if your Splice Serum will even be updated to v2 and if for free. Serum 2 should certainly be reverse compatible with Serum v1 content.

Oh. Normally different developer's plugins don't interfere with one another, no matter which you version you use. If whatever Splice uses for any kind of DRM is like that, I can happily not tell you. I'd rather put a plugin on my credit card to buy it from the dev than give Splice a penny.

 

No the version on that website is not rev 3. The rev3 was released only for WiN AFAIK on a later date. It was an earlier version and has some protection PROBLEMS in Windows. About Mac I am not sure if is caused any problems whatsoever

I'm having this problem in FL Studio that notes get stuck when playing on keyboard, if I hold a note it retriggers by itself and when I let go keeps playing. I tried Nexus in Reaper and works fine, so this seems a FL Studio problem.

I noticed the problem appeared when I added new presets to the folder, before that it worked fine.

I'm using Nexus 4.5.13 on FL Studio 21.2.1 in Windows 10

OK I fixed by copying over the content properties.json and tags.csv from the win rev 3
