Here's something I did a while back along those lines - using a midi verb and the purple line 6 pedal:

https://misleadingstructures.bandcamp.com/ I especially like his "Far Frozen Lands", "Constant Liquid Stratus", and "Forest Fire" CD's. This music is hard hitting, but extremely melodic and hypnotizing. Kind of gets in your bones.

I make a lot of ambient music. Beautiful genre in general. I must hand credit to those styles for my health and happiness - as I meditate to it. All I have to do is close my eyes when I listen to it and I can go wherever I want to go and be whatever I want to be and be with whoever I want to be with - without moving a single bit. Sort of like being high - but the substance is music and it's injected into your body through your ears rather than your mouth or your nose. :hillbilly:

Looks like you're looking for that kind of sounds with guitar included so I owe you that I think, but I can recommend you Vangelis and Issao Tomita. You're gonna hear God's sound with that.

Great to see more drifters over here..
When I think of 'guitar ambient', Ashra springs to my mind. 'Ocean of Tenderness' is beautiful:

And talk about an Arctic Storm.. Polar Sequences by Biosphere:

Lastly, for buying great ambient from a huge collection:
The Databloem label, specialised in ambient music: http://databloem.com

Some of yours stuff are more pure soundscapes, than really space music for me. Don't know if you see what I want to mean. However, I don't care, I love both.:)

    I love AMBIENT music!
Also have done a couples of albums myself (but i won't post them here).
I prefer beat-less Ambient music such as:
    - Phillip Wilkerson
    - Steve Roach (earlier works around the 90ies)
    - Mathias Grassow (2007 to 2014)
    - Forrest Fang
    …and many others.

maybe we should create an Ambient/space music Vault like ZEUS did for the dub techno vault?
do you guys have interest into such a topic?

    great stuff here!

Mr. Budd i have all his releases, love it.
some stuff i already have and listen and some new things, thanks a lot.

yes my stuff is more drone music, ritual drone and it sometimes goes into noise and dark ambient.
if i had some money, time i woulld like to learn guitar like Jeff Pearce does. but yeah right now other stuff is more important.

me too, its great to just sit around, read, study or just relax, just think around about something.

    @ALL
how about we create an album together? ambient space music like?

    Yes! :winker:
"Snowfall" by Jeff Pearce sounds fine.
An old friend of mine used to play almost like him.

Yeah why not? Both ideas should be fun and I definately would like to work on an ambient track, should be a great excercise in production skill :)
