I guess this is one those rare cases where the Mac users get the goodies that the PC owners miss out on... The PC version 1.0 is an unstable POS, but the 1.5 Mac-only version is useable.

Has anyone ever made a Mac VST to PC bridge/wrapper? (half joking, since everyone seems to only talk about the reverse).

ive used a plugin called wormhole (not from zynaptic, i can DM you the link if you wish so) to transfer data from macOS native to reaper on crossover (wine)

maybe you can do the reverse with hackintosh VM on native windows?

Madrona Labs Aalto. It's not the exact copy of specific Buchla model however, it's inspired by Buchla sound and it's pretty damn close.

Cytomic The Drop. Analog modeled resonant filter.
The only VST filter that (I know of) recreates hardware irregularities of analog filters. Warning - CPU intensive.

Loomer String - vintage strings emulation VST.

Buchla Easel is the only emulation from Arturia that sounds so close to hardware that it shockingly similar. But noone seems to care about that diamond.

    It depends what you feel.
If you want something very different, I would suggest Kontakt libraries of
rare instruments. There are surprisingly many forgotten instruments in Kontakt form.
Go with it. I'm going for it.

One of the Spire filters is based on the Virus, isn't it?

Seems the initial post of this thread won't be updated anymore.
    Nevertheless:

Cherry Audio released two emulations in October/November
The DC-106, an emu of the Roland Juno-106

And the CA2600, an emu of the Arp 2600

Just recently TAL-software released the TAL J-8, an emu of the Roland Jupiter 8

And since it hasn't been mentioned yet, u-he's Repro-5 should qualify as an emu of Sequential Circuits Prophet-5

Nice. I was just watching a comparison of the Cherry DCO-106 vs the Roland version vs Tal-Uno-LX...
Kirk Degiorgio liked the Cherry a little more than the Roland, and the TAL-Uno-LX is more limited being a Juno-60, but still great.
I like the extra controls, and I am no purist, so will keep my eye out for the Cherry.
He also did not include Arturia's newly released version... :)

With these emulations i now wish I had a keyboard with lots of extra buttons and sliders to map...

You can also add Image-Line's Sawer to that list. It's pretty good actually.
