Hi guys,
what FabFilter-version are you using that has not timebombed for you after a long period of time.
I'm still at v2017.12.05, because I fear to destroy all of my new mixes after an update.
But with a version that is 3 years old, I really want to upgrade to a newer version.

So what version are you using and for how long?
Also, since I never had a vst timebomb before: Can I just reinstall it, or are all my mixes "broken" afterwards?

FabFilter.Total.Bundle.2020.12 works like a charm

 

Latest version works like a charm go for it.

The 2020.06 R2R-release. I am reluctant to upgrade this software as well to avoid issues but this version has suited me flawlessly for over 6 months now. It's a safe bet.

Although I mostly use only C2 and L2, with some Q3 and MB here and there.

 

Yeah, use same FabFilter.Total.Bundle.v2020.06.11 (Q3 and Saturn2 mostly) from release date. No any bombs found.

 

It would be helpful if people included the cracker, and at least a release date. "Latest version" is not too helpful, especially over time.

I am hoping these newer versions continue to work, and it would be nice to have an "official" tracking sticky thread about it .

I am using the [Fabfilter.Total.Bundle.v2018.11.30-R2R] so far without problems since 2020.03.28, but I have not been doing much this year, so I am not that confident.

Xupito said he thought the R2R from 2017.12.05 was the last non-bombing, so I also found that one as a backup,
but .... he also mentions on March 26,2020,"All being said... this is interesting technically speaking but I thing I'm just gonna switch to the non-bombing 2018 version."

just get the latest R2R release and you will be perfectly fine (don't have to be the particularly latest one, just make sure it's a R2R release)

I use FabFilter for years. I had never had a timebomb ever, and I am constantly updating.

 

I recently had a version of V.R that timebombed.
In pro tools it worked perfectly (aax) but in ableton I had timebombs, but I don't remember if it was the vst2 or 3 version....
I have now switched to 2020.06.11 from R2R, no timebombs yet

I never had any timebombs from either of the groups so far because I don't use any AV and windows defender is always off.
