kontakt library issues on mac are driving me crazy

    What u have quoted from La Fernande is all correct. Follow it closely.
    Plus, u should be using 5.6.0 to add libraries. Not any other iteration.

    edit: Just seen that the latest Kontakt release from Cashmere comes with 5.6.6 to add libs, so at least with this release I am wrong. Sorry.
    But up until now, anything other than 5.6.0 would not always work properly.

    Man...

    I LOVE YOU. I was SO excited about Damage 2 and no matter how much of a wizard I thought I was, I couldn't get it to work. The part I didn't know, was that the XML will have 000 as the SNPID.

    You sir, are a legend in my mind. THANK YOU.

    If you download any of the lastest version 6 for mac, when installing that version, it will put the Kontakt 5.6.0 standalone to the same folder next to the new version.

    Make sure you have changed an SNPID # of <000> in an .xml to the correct SNPID # as written in the .nicnt file of the lib.
    Otherwise you will get problems in the future.

    Yea, that's what I was telling the OP. I never realized the XMLs have SNPID numbers in them, and that is exactly what my problem was.
