Great effort by the way, nice arrangement, it's cool that it's not just one long loop, it has variation which I think is important...

Thank you a lot, buddy. I'll replace it. After a night, I feel I can still do a little more to it. First off, I have to remove that guitar. I might add another or any other instrument to give me a hooky counterpoint. That's what it lacks.

What is Renoise again? I haven't messed with my DAW this entire year.

 

Today's technology enables you a faster workflow. I don't care if you did it in five minutes or five months, this is a great track so far. Really waiting to see what you may add. Keep it up.

What does "memorability" have to do with quality? And why do you assume that all critics acclaim the same things? Everybody ideally listens critically, so my guess is that you are cherry-picking - making "critics" into an elite to bolster some vague argument-from-authority. But of course all musicians, all creators, are "authors" and so are literally "authorities" moreso than most mere academicians, pundits, and armchair theorists who don't produce anything.

 

Having a blast working on this one, noticed the week started on Sunday technically so hoping a Saturday turn in would be inside the deadline. Currently Friday here in case you're located in a different time zone
