Downloaded Flare V2.0 but nothing seems to load after extracting and opening and clicking on any of the buttons doesn't bring up anything. What could be the problem here?

I have downloaded the content files and have extracted with the zip files ready.

I remember that it had something to do with Java...but not sure if that was with v1 or v2...or both perhaps...im not in my studio right now so i cant look it up...i always make install notes when facing install troubles...i ll look it up lateron.

I have seen these.. These do not specifically talk about the problem I am facing.

 

It can take a while though...importing a line...depends on the size

 

I dont even see any line in the Flare tool.. none of the buttons work as well

I have managed to come up with a solution to this issue. Launch the standalone Arcade app, then sign out and sign in. Go to settings -> audio/MIDI -> Change the driver to ASIO. Mine was set originally to Windows Audio. Now when I use Arcade within FL Studio it works. Hope I help someone else with this issue.

Not sure if i follow correctly. The problem I am seeing is with FLARE tool and not arcade.
Ideally, the FLARE tool should work even without Arcade instlaled i suppose?

 

If it works on other computers, it's your computer. I've read that a lot of people have problems with it and I think it's malicious software. But maybe there is a solution to your problem, what does the manufacturer say about it?

It used to work with my older system.. I recently upgraded my computer and it doesn't work after that.

 

Whoever wrote the program and then stopped providing updates, they threw the thing in the trash and made music.

 

any other alternative route to extract these?
