hi,i have installed 13 pro r2r. am i correct in saying the download assistant will not launch now that i have 13 installed?
i have legit 11 pro still installed.

 

I use download assistant to get legit installers for all of steinberg stuff. It's just a convienient gathering of all steinbergs stuff with a download manager. It does need a log in, but in my experience does not link that with your licences so you can download what you want. If you have a license for it it will run, if not it will tell you. And not wanting to spark the troops to hotly start a flame war, I love VR.

 

when i try to launch the assistant,i get blue spinning circle then "a conncetion to the download server could not be established"

 

turns out i had to install newer version of assistant.works now.
do u know can i download the new content stuff for 13 thru assistant and will it work on r2r 13 pro?

 

Sorry my reply did not work lol. I did say a new version is best to try or check firewall. I would look at alternatives for the other stuff. Theres heated discussions, but for years I use the very reasonable generators to unlock my productivity.
