I'm sure you know that the government is not the one who prints the $. The federal reserve bank is a private organization and is not controlled by any of the guys who pretend to rule the nation.

While Batoumba talks strange things, and I don't agree to him/her, I want to be more precise regarding your post.
The printing of federal reserve notes is an order by the government. The fed has to report to the congress regularly. The congress can, at any time, change the laws regarding the business of the fed. So, technically, the printing of the notes is controlled by the guys who pretend to rule the world. But, of course, as an answer to Batoumba, your post is sufficient.

And re: op, I don't have a webcam :bleh:

i don't cover my laptop camera, cause i usually use my laptop in a dock with a closed lid, but otg i do not cover it. i have always thought, that if someone would start hacking smartphone cameras, then they would have a lot of pictures of people sitting in the toilet, face all red, squeezing one out. so i don't really mind the laptop camera. plus i am using prey, so i would like to see the thief.

Absolutely. I also remove the internal mic's on all laptops. I don't use smartphones, iPads. For that reason specifically.
You're a naive fool if you think you're exempt.

No, and I don't see a benefit in starting putting tape over cameras.
The 2530p I take with me most of the time has camera activity LED, which is actually powered from the same voltage rail as the camera, so there's no way to fake turning on the cam without the LED. There are indeed exploits in TPM architecture, but having unlocked, transparent and non-encrypted BIOS on a machine does provide with a sense of security. Too bad modern laptops' BIOS is always encrypted, so you can't check whether the manufacturer has put there malicious code.
