Has anybody been able to install Addictive Drums 2.1.9 from the sister site in Big Sur?

 

I dont know about AD but i tried Rc 20 and it shows a Black GUI. XLN Audio has released a fixed version, and now we wait for it to get cracked.

For me it was an Intel genuine mac running Big Sur.

Black GUI on RC 20, legit users have reported it and XLN Audio came out with an update, which fixed it. Currently waiting for a cracked version from R2R.

 

You will see that on the linked list, AD2 2.19 is there as running on Big Sur. Intel based MacBook Air.

I reinstalled it and still doesn't work

 

Afraid the new version that XLN released fixes this issue across ALL their plugins (AD, AK, RC-20, etc) - I installed the demo and its all fixed.

@mrzackzadek do you know if installing latest demo and then using previous cracked version will work? Running Mac OS Big Sur and M1 Mac mini

For a while, I had to do with a previous version of AD2 that doesn't have all the kits (4 missing to be complete).
As many of you on Big Sur (non M1), the newest crack version gave me a black screen when using a DAW and the app wasn't working at all.
But yesterday, I found an interesting comment section somewhere else that explained how to do and yes, basically it requires the installation of "XLN Online Installer" and installing from there the latest demo of AD2.
Once done, the AD 2.1.9 crack can be installed on top of the demo and, provided that we do some smart tweaks, the app and plugins do work with all the adpacks available so far.
That's a huge step forward.

That said, there is one very small caveat:
Everything works but there are two error messages that appear when opening the app/plugin saying that the sound banks are not up to date.
It's normal since we are using a 2.1.9 sound bank while the demo is 2.1.15 I believe.
The issue is mainly cosmetic since once those two messages discarded by a click, everything works just fine and without any restriction.

I tried everything I could to get rid of those two messages, without success.
Not a big deal but if one of you succeeds in getting rid of them, please let me/us know.

In the meantime, for those who couldn't make it work until now, enjoy!

we will have to wait I guess.. even in catalina with Logic Pro X lastest there are some problems too.. glitches
