Indeed... but more specifically it is an issue only with 2 of my libraries. Actually, WAS an issue with 2 of my libraries. Using the SNPID Locator tool, I was able to change the value in the XML file to something that worked, starting with 0. For some reason, I thought the SPNID had to match the one in the .nicnt file.

Bro the NICNT files always have been able to be edited in whichever form using whatever editor you chose. This is not exception.

 

Now I'm confused. Everything is working now that I modified the SPNID value in the XML file for the library. In its original form, the SPNID it was using to create the XML was the same value as in the SPNID found in the nicnt file. But these were problematic values on my PC because they would not show in Kontakt. Changing the SPNID in the xml SOLVED the problem - I didn't have to go back and adjust the nicnt file as well.

 

I have to agree. @r4e did a freaking great job. So appreciated here.

 

The one who is confused here is me. First, the xml file is created with the info from your NICNT file. Second, the SNPID in your NICNT and XML files must be identicals. Whatever you have done, there is an error somewhere that will show up sooner or later. Indeed, without looking at your system I will say that if you have different SNPID numbers in your XML and NICNT files there is a user's error. There has to be something that you are missing. It could be a duplicate file or SNPID somewhere or you are reading them wrong. As far as I know any Kontakt library that needs to be registered has to have the same SNPID in both the XML and NICNT files.

 

One thing I didn't see in this thread. Will this play nice with komplete kontrol and there nks patches? Not to fall off topic, but is there a patched maschine 2 that allows you to load the NI drum kits that are unlicensed?

Sorry friend. I went thru hell uninstalling and reinstalling ultimate 9 after messing things up in my registry. Don't want to come off like an a-hole, just trying to get the answers to my questions from the knowledgeable

 

Bro, it is not about being an a-hole. It is about not being selfish. We don't mind helping others but when you posit an off topic question in a thread many things happen. First, if the OP has a problem, that problem could be obliterated by yours. All of a sudden members start helping you and forget about the OP. Second, if your problem gets solved other members with similar issues would not be able to benefit because most likely the solution is buried within a thread which title has no resemblance to the problem. That is why is better to create a new thread or at least go to a similar one. If you don't feel comfortable opening a thread you can always PM one of the members and ask for help. Nobody is going to turn you down. I myself receive about a dozen requests like that on a daily basis. As I said, we don't mind helping others.

Hey guys! Does this package work with AAX 32bit? I'm using PT10HD/Win7 so would need the AAX version. The VST's are giving me crazy clicks and pops.

 

Yes, this version is the best. Many thanks to P2P/R4e! I use it alongside version 5.5 with no problems so far. I'm not sure, but it seems that the Add-library tool is optional if you use NicntGenerator, like I do. I installed several newer libraries with NicntGenerator and they are working fine.

Another major advantage is that this version works flawlessly with Komplete Kontrol software. With 5.5 I had often the common error "The plugin could not be loaded".

I'm looking forward to a version of Kontakt that will iclude full Komplete Kontrol keyboard support, but this should be addressed to NI and not to this forum.

Bro you have the package, why don't you install it and find out for yourself. All the pops and clicks have nothing to do with the release. It is your system. Check you buffer settings. I dont want to go offtopic here but Im curious as to what OS you are running? W 7 x86 or x64? Do you have an audio interface? What DAW are you using? First, uninstall Kontakt and reinstall it. Then check your audio interface buffer.

I have a computer with Win7 on an HD3 system. I installed it and it comes up with 'Demo'. That's fine, I'm just wondering if it's also SUPPOSED to work with x86/Aax 32 or if it's only for 64aax.
