I just downloaded waves tables. Just watch the video and get links under it.

 

I actually had these for Serum already. I didn't realize (being the dummy I am) that they work in any wavetable synthesizer. I guess that makes sense! Thanks for the link.

You can use any wavetable with Vital vst. You also can use simple waveforms from any synth.

 

Echo Sound Works are amongst the best wavetable suppliers I've come across. Their free packs are better than some commercial ones.

 

Well wavetables are just a set of single-cycle waveforms. If a synth supports importing custom wavetables you can use any wavetable in any other synth.

 

And using the same wavetable in both Vital and Serum for comparison would be the way to go to see which one actually sounds better.

 

I've done this, but not to check which one sounds better , but to check the cpu load, and I found that with exact same patch, it's similar.
