Hi Guys ! Well, I'm running my PC as Admin, I uninstalled and reinstalled the latest R2R system v1.0.0. VPN is off, Antivirus is off.
Root Certificate is well installed. WitchDiag is saying that everything is fine..... And yet, the WitchWand exe still returns with a "wrong usage" windows and therefore, the r2rwm files can't be recognized as you can see on the screenshot.
So, I think I'm done with it. Too bad !
Anyway, thanks to all of you for your time, kindness and support.

    Hiya,

I see from your message yesterday that you did install the certificate properly.

So what I see from your screenshot from your last message saying that WitchWand.exe still returns "wrong usage". This is because you're executing WitchWand.exe, instead of the keyg. related to that "R2R System" software needed to run it.

Now, go to your R2R vst release and there should be a folder where the usual kg used to be (called R2R). Inside that folder there's a file showing a pumpkin icon. That's the file you need to execute. Extension is .r2rwm

Click on the image to make it bigger.

If it still does not work, then: reinstall certificate correctly. Here the instructions in the Spoiler button below.

    this should work.

I see you're executing MagicWand.exe but it does not work like that.

First, you install R2R System (the needed version for the software you're trying to authorise should be somewhere on the release you're installing (the instrument/effect you want to install, not the R2R System).

Remove your already installed cert. from R2R. Open WIN + R. Then type certlm.msc press enter. (Note it is an L, not an I: CERTLM.MSC)
Find your R2R cert and delete what you already installed.

    Then, to install certificates correctly:

First, it might help even more if and only IF you have problems with this next procedure, is to TURN OFF REAL TIME PROTECTION in Windows Security.

    R2RCA Root Certificate

    R2RCA.cer :
Root Certificate file you need to import.
    1. Run R2RCA.cer
    2. Select 'Install Certificate'
    3. Select 'Local Machine'
    4. Hit 'Next'
    5. Select 'Place all certificates in the following store'
    6. Hit 'Browse' button
    7. Select 'Trusted Root Certificate Authorities' and hit 'OK'
    8. Hit 'Next'
    9. Hit 'Finish'
    10. 'Import Successful' message will appear
    11. Finally, run R2RCERTEST.exe which will confirm certificate is installed

Make sure you install the certificate this way, otherwise it didn't work for me.

Then, when all is done, you go to your R2R vst release and there should be a folder where the usual kg used to be (called R2R). Inside that folder there's a file showing a pumpkin icon. That's the file you need to execute. Extension is .r2rwm

    This should work. Good luck!

    Last Version " TEAM R2R System v1.1.0-R2R " from 2026.03.23
    R2R System Installation
    [Clean Up]
    1. Uninstall obsolete Network Block Runtime v1.x and v2.x.
    2. Uninstall previous R2R System. [C:\Program Files\TEAM R2R]

    (1.) Recommended Step-by-Step Installation (Double-Click Method)
    1. Locate the file R2RCA.cer (it comes with the TEAM R2R release, often in a folder called “TEAM R2R Root Certificate”).
    2. Double-click on R2RCA.cer.
    3. In the certificate window, click Install Certificate…
    4. Choose Local Machine (very important – not Current User) → click
    5. Next. Confirm the "Storage location "Current User" prompt with Yes.
    6. Select Place all certificates in the following store → click Browse…
    7. Choose Trusted Root Certification Authorities → click OKNext
    8. Click Finish.
    9. Confirm the security warning with Yes (“Do you want to install this certificate?”).
You should see the message: “The import was successful.”

If clicking on "WitchWand" displays an error message, it doesn't mean you can't install discoDSP.
In short, the certificate simply needs to be installed correctly.

    2026-03-25_105841.jpg
Click on the pumpkin and then the keygen should open.

    250.jpg

Alternative Method using MMC (if the first method fails)

    • Press Windows key + R, type mmc and press Enter.
    • Go to FileAdd/Remove Snap-in…
    • Select CertificatesAdd → choose Computer accountLocal computerFinishOK.
    • Expand Certificates (Local Computer)Trusted Root Certification Authorities → right-click on Certificates.
    • Choose All TasksImport…
    • Browse to R2RCA.cer, select it, and follow the same steps as above (select Trusted Root Certification Authorities).
    Important Tips
Always install it for Local Machine (computer account), otherwise it may not work for all programs.
    Restart your PC after installation.

It is recommended to temporarily disable your antivirus while installing the certificate and running the test tool.
If you still get warnings, also install it for Current User using the same steps (just select Current User in step 4).
After successful installation and a reboot, your TEAM R2R installers should run without SmartScreen or publisher warnings.
