When i'm trying to unpack .nkx file from libraries Spitfire Chamber Strings and Soniccouture Balinese Gamelan, this error occur:

I've experienced this when using a new innkx. When using the old one, there was no problem.

 

There is a workaround - load the patch in kontakt from the sister site, it will save all the samples with the patch, depending if there is one nki file then it will save all the samples, otherwise you have to go through each nki and save it (saves the samples separately).You can untick compress samples so it saves as .wav as well which is a huge timesaver.

i've coded a standalone nkx-tool that proper decrypt that container (btw. nkx-tool= eg. inside stemdumper submenue) just want quick note that the IMPORTANDS thing to successfull make this job is: the library MUST be installed at your local system, with installed i mean, check if that library has REGISTRY VALUES stored at your reg. else it cant be work (or complicated, crypto = xora\aes cmode:ecb and want to fck with your regstrings, if success we got a replicant-pair and the motherfunking son of a honkeytonk guitar from both is a valid nkxproccess) short: check this, else just add manually. good luck
