OK, strange. Tested it on 2 virtual machines (win 8.1 & Win 11) and it crashed there as soon as I opened it.
Maybe it's some settings on my end cause I also copied the settings folder to those machines.

For now my solution is the Android App "Murglar", which works perfect for Deezer and other services.

    Edit:
It works again. I always had a few seconds after logging in until it crashed. So I quickly
clicked on any cover that showed up and hit the download button. Then it crashed
but after running it again right after that last crash, it seems to work for now.

I'm going to keep that murglar app anyways.

there are various telegram bots, which you let you input a spotify link and its been downloaded from either spotify @256 quality or from other services like quoboz in a decent quality.

still using soulseek and rutracker for big collections and if spotify doesnt have the releases i want.

last resort for very rare tracks has been youtube videos, which i converted to mp3@192 ... its better not having the track in the end.

its very sad that deemix died, it was such a super run ... convert spotify to deezer playlist and start downloading or just search stuff on deemix and add it to the download list.

with the telegram bots i still managed 10-20GB/day in mp3@320 quality. thats still a lot.

Any updates about a good Deezer downloader? Some of them don't work anymore.

i need such solutions daily in my job :)
i used doubledouble.top for some time, as it downloads from most streaming services in their original formats (flac for deezer, ogg for spotify - sic), and sometimes spotifydown.com if i need an mp3 QUICK
but now they (DD) seem to be moving: check lucida.to (already functional)

i've updated my main post with links to Deezer installer and portable. You will have to read how to get ARL though.

Also currently using deemix with an active sub. My question: is there something similar for Qobuz? That can download from Qobuz in FLAC, all albums and singles from an artist, into separate folders, automatically, like deemix?

You could try suggesting that feature to the murglar devs.
They currently allow to download from Deezer, VK, Yandex Music, SoundCloud, Zvuk and WebDAV
and they're developing a Windows/Mac/Linux version of Murglar as well so it might be possible
for this to become the ultimate music downloader.
    https://github.com/badmannersteam/murglar-downloads

They even created an API to develop plugins for new services so anyone with coding skills could add
    new services.
