Best Gate Sequencers/Arps

    Hello musicians,
    I start a new project and I would like use a Gate Sequencers for add more movement and atmospheric sound at chords.

    What is for you the best and complete/interesting Gate Sequencers/Arps plugin?
    Any ideas even for alternatives ways? I'm on Mac/LogicPro (AU) but... VST are welcome too. :bleh:

    Chtulhu from Xfer, Audiomodern Chordjam, Hexachords, Sugarbytes Thesys. some of the K-devices MFX are alright, most of them are win/mac releases at the same time. These are all MidiFX to put in front of a sampler or synth, and most of them have a good variety of uses.

    I'm also a fan of Arps and pattern sequencers. I use mostly just LibreArp and BlueARP. Both work on Win and Mac, plus LibreArp works with Linux, too. LibreArp is fairly simple to use, I love it. BlueARP is a bit complex, but extremely powerful. Both are free to dl and use. Have fun! :wink:

    Regarding gates, I just use any gate plugin with MIDI input or my hardware Drawmer DS-201.

    Libre Arp is great and it's free and Nora is similar too it with more options

    For audio, a nice one is the frequently overlooked Fabfilter Pro-G. It's one of those people often don't realize they have installed it already.

    Too bad but I’ll avoing to test LibreArp because on Mac it need the installation of ‘Homebrew’ (I prefer avoid install software I don’t know well).
