    Sjoerdvankreel - InfernalSynth v1.1 VST3 - 7.3.2023 - Free

InfernalSynth is a free, open-source, semi-modular software synthesizer and audio effect plugin.
It is currently available as a VST3 plugin only, and ships as different binaries for instrument mode and effect mode. In instrument mode, InfernalSynth is a polyphonic synthesizer where the combined output of all voices is routed through a global effect bank. In effect mode, the voice generators are not used, and instead an external audio source is routed through the same global effect bank.

It sounds a but dirty ion these demos, which is interesting (IMHO)
So you are promoting something without trying it? ....

why crap, because there are so many really good free synths available and people seem to have a problem installing or getting this to work, (THIS IS NOT THE HOLY GRAIL) any other synth can make the same sounds from the demo links , maybe you have tons of time to waste, but if something doesn't install or work easily it is useless, time is too valuable to be wasted. I tried to get it to work but it wouldn't so it ends there. I buy the plugins that I like and use often, but I also use freewares that are exceptional, suit my needs & requirements and then recommend them to others. Besides plugins should be simple to install and fairly easy to use.

I assumed that the InfernalSynth can be installed. It is also the first synth that can not be installed.
I've installed thousands of synths and I've never experienced anything like this.

This interesting synth I wanted to make available to the users here, unfortunately, the installation did not work for me, so I asked the community for help. A user wrote he could install it in Bitwig. So the posting has its justification despite difficulties especially since he is free and open source.

You have to install and test "Sjoerdvankreel - InfernalSynth " first - to be able to form a real opinion.

I wrote an email to the manufacturer yesterday and here is the answer:

    Hey!

Can't speak for the other hosts but I explicitly tested Bitwig and Fruity.
What OS and version is this? Is it 64-bit Windows?

Also what's the contents of your VST folder?
You can find out using the command line tool "tree", f.e. calling "tree /F > c:\temp\plugs.txt" from a command prompt inside "C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3".
That would dump directory contents to c:\temp\plugs.txt (see below for an example of what the Infernal stuff should look like).
