hey man, what daw are you using? if it's studio one i recommend the audiobox iTwo, you can have zero-latency monitoring.
otherwise, audient hands down. just better preamp/build quality overall

I have an Audient ID14 and it's great, it's first gen, but still sounds awesome

That soundcard works perfectly in Win 10. Just use the latest driver available.

Definitely +1 for the ID14. Had one before I decided to spunk 10x that on an RME UFXii and only swapped because I needed wanted more inputs and wanted an RME for years. Most in the id14 price bracket are solid units these days, but I do think the id14 is something special.

skip the Focusrite. Focusrite Control software is not very good. other reasons, but the software part sounds important to you.

compare the Motu vs the Audient of the same prices. neither of these are RME money

You know, you could have got one of these and hooked it to the ID14 for a total of 10 inputs

If it's not too late, I recommend the Zoom UAC2.
It's a USB 3.0 interface with very low latency and regularly updated drivers and it only costs about €200.
Got it in used contitions for almost under a hundret and I'm pretty happy with it.
