What hardware synths you'd wish there was a recreation of?

Prompted by this thread here I thought this would make an interesting thread as I was unsuccesful at searching for one.

So, what hardware gems you'd love as a plugin?

    I'll start with: Korg Z1 and N364, and Yamaha SY35 and VL70m.

A nostalgia nerd in me also would like a Yamaha SK20 even though there's better string machine emus out there.

Oh yeah, a K2000/K2500 would be just great!
Didn't Roland already do JD-800? Haven't used it so maybe I'm out of the loop, but isn't the 990 basically a rackmount 800?

    Ensoniq synths.
Unforunately SQ8L is 32-bit only, and development seems cancelled, too bad.

I briefly had a DSM-1 and I wish I could get my hands on one again.

It's probably the crunchiest bastard I've ever used, 12-bit sampling and the input stage was something else. You had a switch for the input level, so +4dB for line level, -20dB for instrument level and -50dB for WTF KORG level. I don't think that can be replicated in software though.

No, they haven't done (or at least released) a JD-800 plugin yet.
The JD-990 is a superset of the JD-800, it has more stuff, it's better sounding, and fully stereo.

I have a dss1 and a dsm1. The combination of downsampling and analog filters is unsurpassed ... the Dsm1, however, lacks the resonance control of the filter

I think with these early digital systems, though ground-breaking for the time, nowadays would be pretty disappointing...

(Even if someone could find a still working one to model...)

Adam Ford - Waldorf Microwave XT

    check out Waldorf's Largo VST

    https://waldorfmusic.com/en/largo-overview

    largogui.gif

(Ayin Zahev's expansion Drive and Rob Lee's expansions bring out a nice fluid sound out of it) its not a Microwave XT but... its Waldorf - signature sound

I Heard Largo is virtually identical to the Blofeld

    cyanidecup45 - Korg Trinity

    phumb-reh - Korg Z1

The sound engine of the Prophecy , Z1, Trinity and Triton are all related-

Korg recentl;y introduced a Triton VST

    it sounds Amazing

I totally agree, but just think how wonderful blinking light desktop you would get while playing!
Basically I would be curious to see its capability, NEVER heard, and the few YT clips show nothing.
Which sounds were made for Star Trek? At first I thought it made the Vyger cloud sound, but eventually I discovered it was the Blaster Beam. So no one knows.
