    If you ask yourself this question it means that you listen to your music on a smartphone speaker or a boombox and -yes- it makes no difference. Now ask yourself this question: Will it never happen in my future that I will buy a good pair of loudspeakers and a good audio interface?
    Well, if this happens, you will begin to realize that the difference between lossy and loseless can be heard. At that point you will be forced to re-download your entire discography in a better format. I've been through this before and I advise you to search for your music directly in loseless: it's a futureproof choice

    I agree with this point lossless audio is great for archiving and preservation , you can encode it to any format you want , but I bet you 100 $ that you cant tell the difference between any lossless format and mp3 320kbps

    Can only agree with this. Soulseek is an incredible resource. Team that up with Discogs and you'll be able to discover endless new music. Soulseek is particularly good for rare tunes, I should add. I've been using it for a good 15 years now and there have been very, very few things I couldn't find on there; and my appetite ranges into the very obscure.

    You will have no trouble at all finding disco on there, provided what you search for exists and you input the terms correctly. For instance, sometimes I have found that when I copy+paste a title from Discogs, it adds an extra space character in the text due the text formatting on Discogs, which nulls the search, so best to type it out into the Soulseek search bar. But that's just a tip.
