Only hits from the 70s (1970 to 1979)

Disco is a style of pop music related to funk music, which became an independent music genre around 1974. Texts, melody and singing take a back seat to disco music; Danceability, groove, a beat of around 100 to 120 beats per minute (bpm) and the mix are in the foreground. The heyday of disco music took place between 1976 and 1979. It was formative for the fashion, the zeitgeist and the attitude to life of these years. The disco styles that have emerged since 1980 are counted as electronic dance music. Disco music is a style of music that is meant to "groove along".

Donna Summer - I Feel Love [Studio Version] 1977

I Feel Love is a disco hit by Donna Summer from 1977. The song was produced by Giorgio Moroder. Due to its innovative production technology and its instrumental, which is produced exclusively with synthetic means, the song is considered a pioneer piece of electronic dance music and an important forerunner of house and techno music. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_Feel_Love

This was a big Ian Levine tune back in 1976. I don't believe I ever caught him at the Blackpool Mecca, but I remember him playing it at the Manchester Ritz all dayers.
