3. Plus, it is implying hate for trans-species people who identify themselves as trees.

With regard to the original post, you will never make your money back... unless you achieve 5-Star level music making and an annual multi-million dollar income. While I have had the pleasure of first being a world-class touring guitarist for recording artists in 1990's traveling the world 20 times over and making more money than I have ever seen (and since!)... I am now a full-time composer for film and tv, I STILL buy and spend more than I make! It's just the nature of this beast. Technology continues to improve thus rendering a lot of hardware obsolete (mainly computer networking). So it's constantly chasing those people that are making advances... or you get left behind. Which means no career/no money. While I made six figures in income last year (I won't come anywhere near that next year due to Covid shutdowns), I was still about $300,000 behind in all the equipment and software I've purchased over the years to stay alive in this business. You have to have a passion for music to continue. At any stage or level. And the more money you make... the more money it will cost you to remain relevant.
