On this you are far off from what took place. He is apologizing to his "LEGIT" customers. Those that got screwed by his devious practices, and those who left or don't want shit to do with Tone2 because of it. Otherwise, he did not even need to apologize.

 

All this reminds me of this philosophical question: Is it wrong or right to electrify your house so that burglars die when they try to enter your home and steal things? The law, universally I think, says that if you shoot an intruder, it is you who are committing the crime.

I also own all bundle, but i tested R2R versions and was loading lightning fast and while working my pc wouldnt lag so much compared to my legit version... Gladiator legit is absolutely the most useless instrument in Studio One, lagg allover, yes i could replace its sound with a cracked vsti, but ive paid for that!...on some tings he is right, he really tryes to improove his stuff, with loads of updates but Icarus2 was a paid update... so i wont agree with that statement, im curious how this will develop and hope R2R wont hit him again and again but some devs really deserve it punishing legit users, so i guess in the end you get what you are after... maybe he has learned his lesson, we will see.

...one more thing:

how many of you bought Tone2 stuff? ...0.0001% ?!?
how many of you bought Valhalla plugins, or some simply serial protected plugin( winch now are so rare but still) like Genesis Pro, why not? compared to Tone2 stuff, id say I thrown away 1000 euros ...ive bought 10 copies of Genesis Pro on launch, i couldnt care, that guy worked the same through out these years to build that, is not perfect, little by little will get there, just be patient, ...will buy even more, he deserve it ...good for you Ummet! he was excited like you and never tested it under other DAWS, he owns FL Studio and as you know FL has internal bridge, then the troubles had rised from there, you all can say what you want but for one euro, it can be better than Tone2 plugins, just sayin...

Funny seeing this here, last week was just trying to get all my old tone2 plugs back, but couldn't.. everytime i launch them some weird pop up saying im using illegal blah blah bulls***

Here what you can't do is booby trap your home. And that is exactly what Tone2 was doing to our computers.

Why shouldn't I complain about it. Give me one good reason. Maybe you can do a better job than Tone2 in convincing me that everything is going to be OK and that I should embrace Tone2. With that said, your reasons must be compelling enough for that to occur because maybe I am one of those legit users that got fucked by Tone2 after giving it my money. Or maybe because I am a senile sour old man with nothing better to do. Before you do, ask yourself if it is worth it to argue on behalf of Tone2, to defend Tone2.

 

He and his company is already a forgotten one to me.
No one cares anyway, but his ethic is just horrible. Behind this redemption post is just a money motivation, nothing else.

good for Tone2 but regardless the filter design of his plugs are gold.
