It would be cool if that works, but I don't think so.
Just to be clear since there's still a lot of confusion guys read this:

    1. The timebomb has nothing to do with internet. Nothing at all. It doesn't connect to internet. It will happen always regardless of your computer set up.
    2. It's unknown how much time and tweaking it needs to trigger. It's known that you need to tweak it.
    3. When it triggers it just opens a link, just as you can click on the online help link of many plugins. That's not a big of a problem. Remember, it doesn't connect to the net. If you're offline your browser will just display "no internet".

    4. MOST IMPORTANT THING BY FAR: it produces f*cking noise since the bomb triggers
    5. Second most important thing: deletes the only files a plugin can delete: the presets.

Well, no install versions behave just like regular ones. They're just usually preregistered (time saver BTW).
If I had run R2R's keygen and re-install and re-register I would be in your same situation.

If you're on a Mac, there was a release in June 2019 by MORiA (actually, Cashmeere) that works without timebombs. So far, it's been behaving fine for me. On the PC, I believe there was a release that came out last month that seems to have worked for some. If you want a completely guaranteed no-timebomb version, it's the 11/2018 release.

The timebomb seems to be triggered by tweaking the controls of any of the plugs. You can literally go a year of just plopping these plugs on something with no problems, but the minute you start messing around with the controls (or even flip through presets), you have about a half-hour before the timebomb goes off.

That's right. I changed "use" for "tweaking" in my clarification post.

i NEVER use presets. pro-Q goes on every track i create at least once, often more, and every time i tweak controls. i also use probably 7-8 of the other plugs many many times in each project, each with its own tweaking.
100% tweak things every time i open a plugin, yet still no timebomb for me on win10 pro v2019.03.13

Nah, he is too cheap to give anything away. You would be surprised at how many people think that they are true administrators when in reality the default administrator account they use is limited, and not the hidden super administrator one.

Dunno how it's working for Windoze, just Mac, and on the Mac, the March 2019 release for sure will timebomb if you mess with the controls or flip through the presets. I have high hopes that Cashmeere really did fix it on the Mac side with that last release, and so far, so good. The way I understand it, it was just one tiny little thing that was off on the fix that caused all the trouble. It may have been fixed (or never even been an issue at all) on the PC side, but I'd keep an eye on it.

I had the Mac version on my system for months with zero problem, never thought about it, until everyone was talking about the timebomb issue. At the time, thinking I had lucked out, I opened multiple instances of various FF plugs in a DAW, ran audio through them, selected presets, no problems. In fact, if you go over to the sister site and look up FF plugs for Mac from that time period, you can read myself and several others in the comment section performing these experiments with the plugs in real time, trying to make them timebomb. SPOILER ALERT: they did.

which suggests something less common to me. hopefully it gets sorted soon for the other people :(

I still don't understand, why are you only considering either the 2018.11 or the 2019.03 versions.. :dunno:

Again - did anyone have any problems with v2019.02.19 ?? (Q3 v3.10). It would be my recommendation.

I mean, the changelog from 2018 version to 2019 is quite big (ext. SC for Q3 etc..). From 2019.02 to .03 there are 4 small fixes.

Went deep all over the darknet to check my black platinum VIP access to places you can only dream of..;) and there were no complaints. OTOH, I remember with the latest release reports about the thing blowing up after three days, if not less..
True. But you must put this into perspective - FF bundle is a +200 rank on sister, a gazillion dlds. So there might be lots of folks not giving a flying fck about this thread, with everything working. It just might be, as Xupito said, a very short to a year+ time span.. or like Iggy said - if you torture it enough.. bam!

It's both things, but nobody knows how much of them. we could do some math considering the last R2R release and the first reports but still remains the question about tweaking.
Many people switched to the latest version, like myself, as they were being released, so the ones reporting timebomb on older versions are quite less. But I'm pretty sure I've read timebombing reports of all of them beyond v2018.11.
    I just made a no-install of the 2018.11, I'm a beginner user so it's enough for me.

Sorry, the 2018.11 version was the last version that worked on the Mac. Every version since then (except for this last release I mentioned above) timebombed. On Windoze, your mileage may vary.

Right, it was released on the sister site by MORiA, but the actual fix was done by Cashmeere, sorry I wasn't clearer.

You guys are all referencing the date timestamps the same way, does this relate to "another website" that some of us know about? I am in the UK, would like to catch up on some rls, and only just found the other website again after some years, I thought it used to be called .info.
if anyone is in the UK and would like to PM, feel free. I am a bedroom producer, chasing the pro sound on a jsa budget!
