Soothe aint nothing special about and there are really good alternatives as DSM, Melda Dyn, Ozone spectral, etc, and the obvious eq that can attenuate resonances, mix skills is what is important, to know what to use to get what you want.

 

The one to the right of the Emulator 2 is the Oberheim Xpander. Yes, yes, I can't help it. I am an Oberheim fanboy.
