Plugins work fine here.i already owned the phase shifter and the correlation meter.i deleted most of the codemeter residuals and i aint had any issues.glad to be rid of it because Codemeter is a resource hog

I think this is good advice, especially when installing lots of stuff and updates and considering V.R & R2R are not usually compatible.
Usually best to uninstall the old before installing the new, even though it often works fine.

No previous versions. It's odd, I usually never have problems with any plugins, but once in a blue moon a VST gives me an issue. For some odd reason a few re-installs and clean up seem to fix these issues. Maybe my PC is tired of being clogged with all the cracks downloaded.

 

MAAT plugins working fine on fl studio 20.6 win 10 pro.

 

I don't really see R2R nfos explanations as disses to VR. They explain the differences between what they do, the same way they take time to explain the ins and outs of different types of protection the devs use. They state which are less a pain for the users, why, etc. It's an insider pov, I don't understand much of it tbh but I really like those pedagogic notes.

No, it is not an issue on your side. I was working with "the orange" for some time and as Friedemannn always said: "..I am not a preset guy, so don't ask for one!". Hey, you don't get presets with 900$+ plugins.. for that you must fork out 90$,, or less..;)

About the presets management. If you want to save one from GUI, make a "\Presets" folder in e.g. ProgramFiles\MAAT\SantaCruzEQ and save one there. It works here.. (maybe even the r2r thought a 1k$ plug should make it and point to it by itself..;)) Seriously, iterested if it works for you guys too..

 

Thanks for the information my friend! I have to ask, what is your opinion on the orangeQ? From what I've heard, it's one of the best, but is it really worth the 900$? I have a hard time believing that any VST EQ is worth almost a grand, lol.

..amm, that would be a question for someone like the kitty up there, aka No Avenger. I (try to) compose good/quality music and leave the mix and master to respective engineers. For me Penny Lane or Firebird Suite or Beethoven 7th 2nd mov aso.. is "quality", even if you just hum it or have a look at the score.. but I will save this for another thread.

Nowadays it's handy for almost everyone to have the ability to make a high quality "demo" for promo or to show a mix/master eng your vision.. it is also important to have a good dialogue with them (so I'll stop with the kitty thing.. sry, so tempting..;) thus I always take notes, when our beloved engineers give advice.

IIRC, the orange was used by our mastering eng. If you want my 2c - do you have a room that is purposely built for listening/ mastering (not "treated", built!), a pair of adequate monitors for the same task. Even then I think one of our sound guys said:
"there is NO plugin worth 1k$". Just about what you said..

Yeah, discounted, you have to pay $690 up front, for reasons. I guess you get it refunded if MAAT feel like it? There was a discussion (in German so I only understood the surface deets) where a load of audio bigwigs examined thEQoranginabanana and the ridiculous claims; and comedy Bond villain Tischmeyer hastily said "I don't know anything about maths!" which inspires confidence. It was weird to me that the EQblue wouldn't show any gfx until I updated my gfx driver. Honestly wtf?
