Dear Audiosex Community,

I need your help.

I upgraded to Kontakt 6.0.2 in a cracked version because I needed to use Mallet Flux, a new product by native Instruments. But I cannot find any possibility to add this library to my Kontakt. All my previous libraries (including the cracked ones) are still there. But I can"t find a way to access, either through Kontakt or Native Access. Can you please guide me in the process of adding a library under Kontakt 6.0.2?

I am on macOS 10.12.6

Use an old 5.6.x standalone version to add. It may crash after you add, but it will work when you open v6 again.

 

This is awesome!! Kontakt 5.6 was still installed under 6.0. and there was still the add library button!

Hey guys, I'm trying the same method with 6.0.3 and somehow 5.6 doesn't save the library info after closing the app. So they don't even show up when re-opening Kontakt 5.6, let alone 6.0.3.
I'm on High Sierra.

Edit: I've also tried to change file permissions on "Service Center" folder (both main Library and user Library ones).

Any ideas what I might be missing?

Does it happen with all of the libraries or just some specific ones?
In sister site on the latest Kontakt release page (for mac) you can find some tips in the comment section about how to create the .xml and .plist files manually.

 

Hi, exact same here, 5.6.0 unable to add some libraries...so if you tried to change permissions, it doesn't seem to be a permission problem..?

I have the same problem with Mallet Flux. I have tried to add the library with Kontakt 5.6 but it does not work. The library still does not appear. Any ideas? I'm frustrated. (win)

Hi everybody, same trouble here, can't add some library, I try to add the enchanted kalimba but in the nfo it says "The FULL version of Kontakt 5.8.1 is required" so it's maybe because of that ? we can't add new library because 5.6 is to old ?

 

Adding is not the same as playing. Only reason to add is if the library contains a .ncint file. Otherwise no need, just add to quickload by dragging the .nki files in there somewhere. Otherwise add any new lib through 5.6 and then it should show in 6.x. If it doesn't, then you may have a different issue with the spid # which is fixable as well.
