    Just to clarify, its process is running in Activity Monitor but after 5 mins, nothing has happened or listed. Cheers

    Ok So it does work but it took 10 minutes... might be the size of my library. Thanks for This!
    AMAZING! beats doing it the old fashioned way in Terminal with commands :)

    @jahpooh
    Glad it worked for you… finally. Odd about the time taken :dunno: On my MacBook Pro it takes about 5 seconds for my 91 libraries ! I'm on High Sierra.
    I didn't mention that I deliberately avoided including the "NativeAccess.xml", which some people may have, as it's huge and stuffed full of SNPIDs from other Native stuff. I also left out "Kontakt 5 App.xml" which has its own SNPID also. These could be left in with a little modification, but I think it would be better as an option, seeing the size of NativeAccess ! I'll see when I have a bit of time… :winker:

    For Mac users:

    Find all SNPID currently in use in your NI products (Kontakt libraries included) using Terminal ->

    Code:
    grep -i snpid "/Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/Service Center/"*.xml | awk -F'[<>]' "{ print \$3 }" | sort -n
    ^ Just be aware that a portion of the code is hidden so, use click and drag to the end left side to copy the whole command line ;-)

    Sorry… I just saw this looking for something else :dunno:. I don't have "ControllerEditor.xml" Service Center folder so I'm not sure where that one comes from :disco:. I would need to add another exception for it, but the "quick fix" would be to remove that xml from "HD/Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/Service Center/", launch my software to create your lists, then put it back when you've finished.
    I'm a bit strapped for time at the moment, but I'll see if I can incorporate a fix when I get a chance…

    THE BEST way is to use the SNPID Locator by Tracer. It checks whether your SNPID is being used by another library and there is no need to install it. I, nevertheless, appreciate @Kontrive contribution. Having a list of SNPID does help to certain extent but you have to take into consideration that some members had created their own NICNT and therefore some of those SNPID could be different. With SNPID Locator all you need to do is enter the SNPID and if it is being used you just change it to whatever unused combination of number and letters you wish that conform with NI format.

    OK. I've added "ControllerEditor.xml" to the blacklist. I've no idea what programme generates this file, but it shouldn't bother you any more :wink:

    Any links? Searched but could not find. An extensive list would be awesome, can use the real numbers instead of creating new ones that might get duplicated.

    I'm sorry lovefish, this post was old and be sure I don't remember! (I'm not active since long time on both sites).

    EDIT: good news, by doing long long search, I've found this post: https://audiosex.pro/threads/known-snpids-used-by-native-instruments-pdf.19534/ hope it will help you ;) however, this N.I. list is surely outdated (since, they're new Kontakt libraries published by Native Instruments).

    Thus is outdated, as of earlier this year Zippyshare is no more, please provide a new link fro a Win. version.
