Why download that crap when you can have Windows 7 Lite?

The interesting thing is that W 7 has less than a year before all support ends, and Microfuck suddenly decides to release an "update" ISO. Has Microfuck decided to keep W 7 alive? Millions of users refusing to take a leap to W 10 represent potentially millions of dollars.

Can anyone navigate me to some win7 pro iso? Since MS latest is not really good and stuff.

 

Are you looking for the original ISO? Or a modified one? What language?

 

I`d love to go back to W7, W10 (conservative choice 1607 bcs some devs have issues) works fine but ... yada yada.
If some reports to have UAD drivers properly installed (current is v9.8) on W7 I go back,
my attempts failed I believe since around 9.5.

I did not understand you clearly. You said you lean "against" a modified ISO for audio production and compatible with USB 3.0 ? Or were you trying to say that you lean "in favor" of a modified ISO for audio production and compatible with USB 3.0? The W 7 Lite I have is clean of any malware or malicious code. I have provided it to more than 20 members of this forum and you have not heard any complaints. Feel free to ask. As to Windows 10, we are on The Windows 7 Thread. I don't want to start discussing any other OS here. Got to respect the OP. If you need the Lite or the original W 7 ISO let me know. I have the ultimate and the Pro. For both you need key. For the Lite you don't. It is preregistered already.

I recently purchased an S/H ASUS Zendesk with Windows 10 update (very latest version) and eventually managed to get it to be ASIO/VST friendly, unlike 8.1 (on a Lenovo laptop), which seems to be impossible to remain stable, but this W10 takes a great deal of difficult work and with my DAW being on a Windows Pro 7 system and supported by a similar Slave, with many settings just as I want them, is it truly worth the hours of effort!? UVI (maybe others will follow) specify no support for 7, but Workstation v305, with their latest FM suite, seems to work fine...

if you want to just list all the files in any given folder there is a program DirPrintAdv I have been using this for at least 20 years, I use it to list my music,movies and software as a text file which I then paste into excel. you can get it for about $16 - http://www.l2adv.com and/or is available on several sites. It is fully compatible from Win 98 to Win 10.

 

Great program. I would recommend it, too. It is more than your regular Mem app. Extremely lite on your system resources. And when I say, extremely, I mean exactly that.

 

That I believe is a paid program. There is Karen's Directory Printer. https://www.karenware.com/powertools/karens-directory-printer which has been around for over 20 years AND it is completely free.
No more fumbling with My Computer or Windows Explorer, wishing you could print information about all your files. Karen's Directory Printer can print the name of every file on a drive, along with the file's size, date and time of last modification, and attributes (Read-Only, Hidden, System and Archive)! And now, the list of files can be sorted by name, size, date created, date last modified, or date of last access.

 

Found user reports regarding the issue and I`ll try some suggestions.

@The Pirate: I happen to have an image of home brewed working W7 lite (Winreducer)
based upon Windows 7 Enterprise 64bit SP1 BUILD 7601, my questions:

1. before I go into wild W7 sessions of UAD trial and error, may I pm you?
2. Final lite iso above says ~3GB, what`s your result?
3. I do not remember the W7 included updates, do you on your lite version?

Of course you or any other member can PM me. Here the size is 2.8 GB. After install you end up with less than 4 GB.
