I Salute you for all of your hard work, i'll be adding these links to my bookmark, i'll be reading them carefully, thanks for your time, mush appreciated...

 

This one is pretty good and usable (light) for songwriting. Comes with patterns that you can drag directly into your DAW. Wouldn't recommend the inbuilt "song creator", it's very poorly implemented.

 

@F3r It would be nice to discuss here or in a separate thread about this metal virtual instruments. Trying to follow some rules in order to avoid "batman beats superman" flames. I'm interested in all of them, specially the guitars (what a surprise, isn't?)

It's surprisingly good. I haven't tested it but IMHO is the best free rock virtual intrument (analog one) hands down.

i wonder what Stormdrum 3 has to do with Metal Drums ? Sonoma Wireworks DrumCore 4 are not even out yet too . not all you are list are metal drum related as well , not at all .

@F3r I was thinking about sound quality, features and playability (the last two directly related to articulations). Advices and tips in general.

For example, Shreddage libs have a lot of powerchord round robins (both open and muted) and this make them good as fast metal rhythm guitars.
