I was repeating what you said on July 22,prior to the July 23rd VR release.

I was referring to that. I don't think I had tried uninstalling & then installing the July 24th release.
All I knew at the time was what YOU said to do about it, and YOU had NOT made another reply in this thread.

ya, like I always said the steps could possibly change with future releases and they did with the most recent version of Analog Lab as it fixed a previous issue, I wrote it all out in the comments of that latest AL release as well as in the latest soundbank bundles 7 release.

I reinistalled this so many times and each time I would see a different number of presets in Analog Lab, that meant at some point I always came across an error going through presets eventually, the order and location of install mattered, the magic number is 30,167 presets in Analog Lab, if you see that you're golden.

Does anyone remember how to install just the plugins we want from VR releases?
I don't want the whole bundle Synths Collection I just want to install a few
I remember there used to be a post about this how to install just the needed plugins without installing the whole bundle
I can't find the thread I think it was deleted
I know somehow we are able to go inside the 3 GB exe & extract individual installers but I don't know how to do it

 

First install, then delete. These are all complete packages these days, so you can't check boxes anymore.

1. Uninstall the plugins manually
To do that, please delete the following folders & files if available :

C:\Program Files\Arturia
C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\Arturia
C:\Program Files (x86)\Arturia

Hidden folder: C:\ProgramData\Arturia

Enable Hidden Folders: In File Explorer, go to View > Show > Hidden items to make the "ProgramData" folder visible. Alternatively, paste the folder path directly into the File Explorer address bar.

2. Restart your PC
