Moin,
hat jemand eine Lösung um den Player von East West zu starten? Habe die R2R Version 6 installiert. Startet aber überhaupt nicht. Auf dem Rechner (Win 10, 64bit) läuft auch ein legale Opus App mit gekauftem Hollywood Chor. In der East West Opus App werden aber auch weitere Soubdbänke von R2R angezeigt, die irgendwann mal heruntergeladen hatte. Per Preview auch kurz hörbar, aber nicht ladbar.

 

You most likely will not be able to load any content that you downloaded using R2R releases, because East West most likely has its own installation activation hub like most other companies these days. They have the program included in the installaltion which is called Play, I have not seen the Opus version from R2R yet. I may be wrong as I don't own any legitimate East West libraries or the Opus app.

 

You have to decide whether everything is legal or everything is illegal, you can't have both.
Uninstall everything including the legal Opus app and reinstall!

 

I tried to uninstall everything and reinstall the Play 6 R2R version. It won't start

 

Hallo midifan, versuch mal alle alten Dateireste zu deinstallieren, vielleicht benutzt Du noch den Ccleaner mit seinem Registry Cleaner und startest deinen PC neu. Dann folgst der nachstehenden Anleitung.

Delete:
C:\Program Files\East West
C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\East West
C:\ProgramData\East West
Ausführen --> Regedit -->
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\EastWest

R2R
Um diese Version auszuführen, müssen Sie mindestens eine Bibliothek installiert haben.
Die legitime Bibliothek funktioniert nicht. Sie können nicht die R2R-Version und die legitime Version auf einem Computer installieren. Wenn Sie ein legitimer Benutzer sind, warten Sie, bis Ihre Bibliotheken von R2R oder anderen vertrauenswürdigen Gruppen freigegeben werden.

R2R
To run this release, you need to have at least one library installed.
Legit library does not work.
You can't install R2R version and legit version to one computer. If you are a legit user, wait until your libraries get released by R2R or other trustful groups.

Habe ich gemacht,
klappt aber immer noch nicht. Wo soll ich denn dan eine R2R Bibliothek installieren`?

EastWest PLAY Libraries Release
You need R2R PLAY release to use the library.
Copy "Previews", "ProductChunks", "products" folders to "%PROGRAMDATA%\East West\".
Copy library to HDD.
Run R2R PLAY app, go to Browser tab.
Right-click in an empty space in the left column of the Browser tab,
and choose "Add Another Product Library" from the pop-up window.
Locate the "Instruments" folder of the library.

Go to start, type in "event viewer" and open it up.
Navigate to "Custom Views" -> "Administrative Events" and take a look at the listed application errors.
If you find an error related to Play 6, take a look at the informations below. Maybe there's a faulty module
or something.
You could also try to reinstall the VC Redist 2013 package, which is required to run Play properly.

Eventuell solltest Du die Play R2R Version nochmal runterladen. Virewächter bzw. Defender bitte vorher abstellen.
