Did you mean that your preset folder doesn't have the presets for slap house Xpansion and you only have the sound samples.

If that is the case your Xpansion won't work

 

Maybe because it's against the rules? Just guessing.

really tricky to get the presets to show up in Nexus

I tried to put the presets in the default folder "/Library/Audio/Presets/reFX/NEXUS library"
and tried also to edit the .json file, both without luck

 

There are three folders inside the .../Nexus Library/ directory: NKS, Presets, Samples. There are three corresponding folders in each library pack. Here's my Presets folder in /Library/Audio/Presets/reFX/Nexus Library (see attached). I hope this helps. It was a pain for me to figure out also.

It seems sir, that the Samples for this corresponding expansion (from which the preset is) has some or one of the samples missing or corrupted.

Sometimes it may also happen that presets are not decrypted properly by the plugin
This happens with Nexus 3 version, But the Nexus 4 by VR is able to do that at least from whatever I had tested

 

I made a PDF document that shows how to install these libraries. I didn't cover editing the .json file for external installation. I bet someone has done that already.

 

What to do if Nexus 4 (4.5.13) timebombed? When i open it up it asks for activation even after blocking the following hosts :
127.0.0.1 auth.refx.com
127.0.0.1 refx.com
127.0.0.1 cloud.refx.com
and reinstalling it (with clean up of the registry) multiple times it still doesn't fix it.
If anyone is willing to help i'd be grateful. Thank you.

This problem was also on v4.5.4

Latest rev.3 - fixed new fake auth server

 

Instead of auth.refx.com try outh.refx.com and use 0.0.0.0

 

Installed Rev3 (after clean uninstall) and still got the Log in to activate screen.
But thanks for the reply.

 

Also tried to change this in the hosts file, still asks for activation.

IMPORTANT EDIT!

re-installing the version 4.5.13 (And not the 4.5.4 rev3) seems to fix it.

You have to block 0.0.0.0 outh.refx.com, thank you!

Hello Mr Krameri. Thank you very much for your detailed instructions, I did everything according to it and the libraries are displayed in the plugin. but I get this error (attached screenshot). please help, I really need sound libraries, but I can’t solve this problem.

 

I had this problem with some of the EXP, downloaded them again deleted the old ones and put the new ones in, and everything worked fine.

 

the same problem, it keeps sending that ID in the mail, it already modifies the hots and reinstalls but nothing.

 

This may be due to the fact that I have a cracked version of Nexus. and in the main refx folder, I have absolutely nothing inside the folders (Arp Presets, FX Presets etc) ?
