A while back, someone here who seemed to be a pretty solid dude went all single white female on me in a private message because apparently he thought a meme I posted in a community thread was directed at him. How he came to that conclusion is still a mystery to me, but the "negative" comments he made quickly escalated to threats. I typically take these situations with a grain of salt because it's the internet and there's always going to be "that" guy. Suffice it to say, as easy as it would have been to troll the living shit out of him, I decided to forward his messages to the moderators. In my younger years I would have drooled at the opportunity to go toe to toe with the guy, but I don't have the time or energy for shit like that any more.

Final point: Dont take the bait. Channel your energy into something positive. Let them be a clown on their own time, not on yours.
