    Melda MTuner has a MIDI OUT option.

    Jam Origin MIDI Guitar is amazing but for voice I think Jam Origin MIDI Bass will work better because it's monophonic not polyphonic and so may track even better.

    Your reasoning is good. But since v2 MidiGuitar also covers Bass (ie. there's no MidiBass 2). It's the same algorithm with a couple of extensions (range?), that's why JamOrigin didn't feel the need for two separate products. Kudos to them.
    Monophonic has always been an option for MidiGuitar.

    I'm sure is cool. Stopped reading with "you need to buy our [expensive] mic, and to calibrate it". And seems it's not polyphonic.

    I think you're looking for a related but different site, popularly called the sister site here.
    I don't remember the rules about telling you the full URL because have changed at least something over the years.
    @omiac , @ArticStorm , your time to shine :wink:

    I had one and sold it straight off. I got better results with Roland GK and better still with Fishman Triple Play.
    YMMV. Anyways we're straying off-topic with all this guitar2midi hardware talk. That's not what the op was looking
    for.

    Maybe, but the thread is over 2 years old; so hopefully the OP has found what they wanted by now. But on this subject, if you look into these audio-to-midi tools; you will see that the guitar oriented ones are the only real progress being made. If a "guitar plugin". solves my problem for synths; I do not really care about it's original intent. Will Melodyne not do realtime audio to midi? (I use Meldoyne as little as possible). Personally I would rather record the audio and then convert it. If I am converting something to Midi data it's always to either reassign it, edit it, quantize, etc.

    Yes, it's an old thread. I can read. As I said, my response was not meant for the OP. While my reply might not have been exactly what the OP was looking for, this thread did include mention of hardware as well as software solutions for guitar to midi conversions. As the virtues of the Sonnus converter were being extolled, I thought sharing my own, less than stellar, experience with it might prove valuable to some reading this thread. And, as I also stated, in my experience there is no better hardware solution than the Fishman FTP. Recording audio and then processing it is fine....in the STUDIO. But some of us play live as well. IMHO no software is a good solution for use onstage. But that's
    just me....YYMV.
