Time to upgrade dude. I just went from Behringer 404 to a Motu M4 just because it's time. You really can't go forward thinking you can keep running modern stuff on ancient hardware and software.

Following your intervention, I will try that but not on my current machine (for do not risk doing everything and redo) , on the other hand I have some computer components (motherboard, ram, processor, hd, power supply etc, etc ... I have no graphics card in addition but no big deal it will work ) , I'm going to build a pc and install win 8 or 10 and see what it will give ... Not to install this thing ( output arcade ) but to go a little further if the driver would allow me ...

This option you are talking about (settings in internet explorer etc) I have already known (experienced during the time of win Xp lol on firefox) but (in my knowledge) it only concerns errors during browsing and not when launching a tool ... Honestly never thought it could play a role ...

i have the same on windows 10.
it sometime need a 2nd reboot if the driver goes down. the bootloader is not always detected at first launch of windows.
i suspect a eset AV compatibility issue but it can be used with windows 10 last version.

when the driver fall dow, reboot. the microsoft management console driver repair option will never works. you even have to kill the task from task manager.


you can update your old microshit.

pour les frenchies:
le gestionnaire de périphériques de windows plante avec ce driver.
windows n'est toujours pas au point sur cette partie.il faudra re démarrer en cas de plantage audio, c'est la seule contrainte de compatibilité. sinon ça fonctionne. on perd juste le pilote de temps en temps. les mises à jour windows en tâche de fond sont parfois responsables.
spécialement local language pack experience ( super relou à l'usage, et on ne peut pas le désactiver) ça fige tout à chaque mise à jour automatique, et fait planter pas mal de trucs en douce quand il tourne.

la logique windows c'est "veuillez patienter". donc il faut attendre que ce truc finisse de ramer pour reprendre le contrôle de la machine.

so we know now: its not OS related, so stay with win7 and make music .most when not all alleged win10 only software worx on 7 .
win 10 process a bit faster but you dont need that same as most high specs users .to get that bitch halfway proper is a journey also with lites cause you did not make it for your custom needs,its windows it was always bloated but 10 wtf
