This error is very easy to solve! You just have to change the compatibility of your Daw to win 8 or 7 and you will not have that error again

Sorry, i don't wanna do the professor here, but since i have all the new Softube, ReLab and many other releases installed and working fine in Reaper 6.15 and Ableton Live 10.1.25, (windows 10 1903) i think you have some issues related to your daw or os, switching to compatibility mode will decrease performance and it's not a solution, i already asked this question in a previous comment but no one answered, are you online or offline? I remember having issues with old Softube releases by Audioutopia but now everything works perfectly so it's not a common issue anymore, as i already said win 7/8 compatibility mode is not a solution especially because you will loose performance and you could experience issues with other plugins, i would try another daw (a quick download and installation of Reaper) just to check if plugins works or not, just to understand better what's goin' on and i ask again, are you online or offline? I'm online and i have no issues, i block plugins only when specified on releases (when they ask to add an address to hosts file i add a rule on my firewall too), just try that and let me know, trying to help here

 

i am online i tried reaper, fl studio , ableton presonus s1, all in different modes 32 bit 64 bit windows 8 windows 7 comp. they all dont recognize only the softube plugins and the other thing is when i install vst2 it recognizes but says its not a valid 64vst plugin tried loading them jbride and patchwork (blue cat) gives the same message not a valid 64 plugin.

Altair033 You are not running R2R Softube plugins but the old AUDIOUTOPIA version from 2015. You have to delete AU version and make a fresh install of R2R version that works flawlessly.

 

I know that Softube says "Windows 64-bit, versions 7, 8 or 10" as system requirements but probably you will have less issues on win 10, as i already said, no problems here and majority of users don't have issues if you check comments on new softube releases on sister site, if you had previous releases you should also check registry for leftovers, i really don't know what to say but i can't blame plugin itself since it works pretty fine for many users.

 

i tried install official softube plugs and the r2r over them maybe that fucked it up but i removed all as for now only the r2r installers in

 

No problem here with Cubase 10 / win 10 64 / using VST2 version

I own Modular and a few modular expansions legit.. installed r2r modular over top(no uninstall because i like danger) working brilliantly for me, did crash Cakewalk but no other daws

 

I installed the new audiotopia release, i'm gonna try the R2R version and i will let u guys know if it works

 

with legit modular, does the modular.dll vst2 plug show up as an instrument or effect?

 

could be as simple as plugin manager not seeing the dir check to make sure you see that you installed in right DIR

 

I just freshy reinstalled win 10 pro 1909 with the first vc redist now all plugins work realy think 20h2 has some problems

 

I uninstalled the Audioutopia and now i'm using the R2R ones, works like a charm on 20H2

dont know why you got some issues with Softube plugins....

All works fine here.
- win 10 64bit 20H2 (19042.685)
- fresh OS (installed 3 days ago)
- Installed all stoftube effects from the big wave - all VST3 (where VST3 wasnt available i was installed VST2)
- DAW Cubase 11 Pro

- If it necessary I can provide screenshot of plugin you want from Softube effects.

 

check ReLab 480 in heavy project - Open 480, change other vst to relab, ON/OFF (not bypass)
