What the fuck are those pills for? Are they better than ecstasy? How many does a singer needs to pop to sound better? Please reply promptly. I have this hissing, off sync bitch, excuse me, I meant to say singer in the studio right now and maybe those pills can help.

    I need:

    - Perfect Drums (Drums)
    - Ample Sound AMR2 (Bass)
    - Sylenth1 (as one for all synth)
    - Korg M1, Roland D50, Roland Jupiter 8 (as old school Synths)
    - NI Kontakt with some libraries (Piano, Orchestra...)

    - Amp Sim (Helix Native, the Best)
    - more special, or more comfortable plugins (Fabfilter Q3, TR5 Tape Machine 80...)

I have much more than I will ever need.

What I don't like is that crackers publish cheap plugins, libraries, samples, presets...and thus destroy the existence of some manufacturers! There should be a code of honor "Nothing under 50 Euro will be published", or similar.

Sounds like we can afford that 50... But I know a lot of people that can't. There are no rules in love and war for a reason. We need to survive, and we need to believe. 50 here and 50 there, that 50 becomes an endless hallway of 50 dollar doors. Opportunity knocks on both open and closed doors.

There is no honor among thiefs and as @Marcsal and @Stryves mentioned, in some places $50 is more than many people can afford to pay for a plugin.

Since when is hissing or being off-sync a deal breaker anymore? Every time I read an interview with an engineer these days, the first thing they brag about is how they recorded their vocalists "live on the floor" as opposed to "I basically built the whole thing in Pro Tools from eight hours of comp takes". I honestly don't think anybody sings or plays instruments anymore, except for us old fucks.

it always makes me laugh when you see privileged americans (and other nationalities too, just mostly US) say we should be able to save X amount of money very easily like everybody lives in their perfect little suburb with a white picket fence.
honestly though i am happier being poor and not living in a place like that!

Trust me, there's plenty of un-privileged Americans ou6 there, too, in which saving up some extra dough to buy a plugin means the difference between paying the rent and looking for a cardboard box to live in.

yea absolutely. but the type i am talking about do not even know the un-privileged americans exist. or when they do they think it is their own fault and they should easily be able to save for plugins.

On a serious note, having a bad singer or bad musician in a booked session is good for business! Unless you charge a flat fee, the hours spent editing bad vocals represent extra income.

Absolutely! And they'll spend that money, too.

I always wonder what those guys are even doing here. "If you don't like the fact that [fill in the blank with name of popular audio software that nobody's k'd yet] isn't available for free, you can easily save up $250 to buy it legit by not buying insulin for a couple of months. Now excuse me while I download Nuendo, Waves and fifteen high-end Kontakt libraries from the sister site."

I was only kidding! You are lucky to be able to afford those synths and having the knowledge needed to repair them. Poor guys like me depend on VSTis to make music.

yea i often think that. those people are the ones who make struggling musicians look like cunts. they can afford it but they choose not to buy it. that is often the mentality of people with money though.
believe it or not, often companies allow their software to be cracked because they know people will usually buy it when they can afford it, but they will never be able to afford it if they cant use it to improve their skills. people like that will ruin it for people who have a passion for what they are doing and would ultimately improve audio economy for everyone.

could not ignore this comment "buy it legit by not buying insulin for a couple of months".
    :rofl::rofl::rofl:
