    I have icarus, saurus and nemesis. Vst each have a folder.
    But the file ".t2k" of icarus, saurus and nemesis is always deleted!
    I blocked the site tone2 with Windows host (ex: 127.0.0.1 tone2.com, ip address tone2 etc etc ...), but does not work!
    I blocked daw program (connexion incoming and outgoing) with Windows firewall, but does not work!
    Who has the solution? Why even without internet, this file ".t2k" is deleted?
    Thank you for your help people;)

    The problem is that the installer of each Tone2 Plugin deletes the file of the others that already have been installed (if they are blacklisted). I dont know exactly but I think to remember the easiest solution was, to make the .t2k file "read only" before installing another Tone2 Plugin or simply save them to a different location and after installation copy them back to the origin place.

    Also, make sure you set the permission info page to locked-that keeps it from disappearing every time you open it (works on Mac)... good luck!

    make the license file read only and block tone2 from your firewall.

    As I said at the beginning, this is already done, but does not work.

    The ".t2k" files always remain in the location of the download folder. Then at the opening of the vst, Tone2 asks me file ".t2k", I walk the path to the download folder and load the file ".t2k". Tone2 is now activated. But if I close and open again. ".T2k" file is lost again!

    I installed each vst Tone2 with "Administrator" :(

    NOTE: Only vst Tone2 "gladiator2, electra2" does not delete the file ".t2k".

    Try this:

    Command Prompt Method
    1. Open command prompt as Admin. You can open it by clicking on Start->Run, then type cmd and hit Enter. You can also press Win Key+R.
    2. Write below codes and hit Enter to make your file Read-only. attrib +r "<file path="">"</file> Example: attrib +r "D:\wikiHow.txt"

    This should fix it ,will also send you a pm cause there is more reading info
    this is the short version lol

    Firts run this reg https://www86.zippyshare.com/v/KvUG7KqT/file.html
    it just removes were the tone2 folders are in your reg
    and looks like this inside.
    ============================================
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Tone2]

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Tone2\ElectraX]
    "Path"=""
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Tone2\Gladiator2]
    "Path"=""
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Tone2\Icarus]
    "Path"=""
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Tone2\Nemesis]
    "Path"=""
    ===========================================

    Next open your reg by copying this into your pc search bar
    C:\Windows\System32\regedt32.exe
    and clicking on ( regedt32.exe ) when it shows up .

    Next this folder icon is found here in your reg
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Tone2]
    Right click on it and choose /permissions.

    [IMG]

    This will then open up this box
    set Deny for your and the Administrators account / apply / ok
    and there ya go :wink:
    [IMG]

    P.S you also have to make sure the keys are not blacklisted by there own plugins
    or this will not work for them plugins.
    New plugins blacklist old keys so going back to an older version plugin
    with new keys will get them working again i.e not deleting there own keys.
    This fix is how new plugins search for blacklisted keys for the other tone2 plugins
    so setting the tone2 reg to Deny stops it from finding the folders cause there removed
    and can't be added back.

    Ok, I'll do your technique, though, or check blacklist of keys?

    Its sneaky what they do, but not as bad as what they use to do.
    when a user shares his working new key its blacklisted not only in that plugins next update but all there plugins
    myself and a other user worked out what they were doing to find the blacklisted keys.
    Making the keys ready only use to work but they read the info like this and fix it,
    they can fix this one day as well but will not say how lol they can work it out for themselfs.

    Type "regedit" into the Windows "start" search bar, is quick to access registry editor ;)

    Thank you for the downloading links @mono
    I'm doing all that and I'm coming back for the verdict, I promise!
